Power intoxicates, use it wisely..

But mind you ... it’s hurts badly when people say or write things to dent your image ..

One the biggest threats against freedom of thought and speech is also the judiciary. The magistrates and Judges are willing tools in the hands of these politicians.

Many of them are corrupt and terrible people without any form of ethics. They sell judgements to the highest bidders and do not care about the moral health of the judiciary.

Civil society organizations should also beam their search lights on these wig-wearing judicial reprobates. They are even more dangerous than an autocratic executive and a reprehensible legislature.

You will get offended if someone calls you a fool. You can slap someone for calling you a mad man or insulting your father. Yet you think you can be free if you call your governor a 419 or accuse your school's VC of corruption without evidence.

We don't really need social media bill before 'beans go done for you'.

Who are the "you guys"?
I am sure if I combed through your post, there are places where you have insulted certain
politicians and call them thieves even though you don't have a single evidence (news story, the police statements
or even standing trial are not evidence).
I knew better. Freedom of speech and expression doesn't give me the right to refer to a person as thief without proof. Some people are too dumb and stupid to even know when to stop. I don't blame them, they really don't know where rights stop

You definitely belong to jail if judged by this victim's standard.

You are only fooling yourself when you talk about "truth".
It doesn't matter what you post, as long as it is damaging to the public official involved,
you will end up in jail.

You might think you are immune because your party is in power but that power could change maybe at the state
or local level.

It is not like you will be convicted of any crime, the aim is to teach a lesson in submission and fear.
All these rants above means nothing. Call someone a thief only when you can stand by your words. It has nothing to do with fear or submission but with fairness and sanity

So, you don't know that Animals have right too?

If he thinks he can hide even under the guise of figurative expression, this is the greatest hate speech to the Animal kingdom.

Fight for your family bro.
Is that your kingdom? Lol, nairalanders and their comic expressions grin

First of all, you don't understand freedom of speech.
We need no freedom of speech if what we can say is predetermined.

I don't think you can get it.
Calling someone a thief even if you caught them stealing items in your house can get
you jailed.
You might think you have "proof" but a lawsuit and remand will clear your mind.

Even if you complain that your governor refused to repair a bad road, you can be jailed
cyberstalking. It doesn't matter if the road is bad and si still bad. "Proof" as you think you
know it is meaningless when someone wants to make you an example.

To your tormentor, the final verdict doesn't matter as long as you spend months even years
in prison while awaiting trial.

I can't help beyond this point because it takes more than literacy to see the big picture.

I'm the one trying to help you here so that you don't land yourself in trouble, social media regulation Bill or not. The few people undergoing trials today in some PDP controlled states are not even being tried with social media Bill. This is not about education or literacy, this is about common sense and decency
