Ebening house,
Pls I need help on my Redmi K20. It's a chinese version and I have been using play store on it well until 10 days ago. I noticed that i can't update my apps and even download apps, it will keep rolling.
I checked on the play store settings and it is showing that device is not certified, I contacted play store and was told that everything is fine with my device from their side and I should contact he phone manufacturers which have done but not gotten any response on it.
I want to know if anyone has experience this before and way to solve it.
Thanks

It seems u off background data for the playstore app, switch it on and everything will be fine again

I dunno if anyone knows if redmi note 8 pro is available in Ibadan. I've called Raya store's number gotten via Google. I was connected to their store in Lagos, the person I spoke to was almost replying with there is nothing like Xiaomi before finally saying they should have in Ibadan so I'm sceptical. I'm not very close to their in Ibadan but it's somewhere I can get to. Anyone have an idea?
Try pointek, that's if they have ibidan.

You can't convert a Chinese version to Global Version. You can only change its ROM to Global ROM but that doesn't mean it will make up for the 4G bands it lacks and the Global Version which comes with Global ROM by default has.

To do that you will have to first unlock your bootloader.
Download the full recovery Global ROM (Mi Note 10) and flash.
NB: You need a PC for all these. I will advise you go to the tweaking thread for guidance.

Many thanks

Please help o.. Since I have updated to MUI 11..

I Downloaded themes, the status bar icons and notifications drawer ain't changing.

And there's no option to select status and notifications drawer of another theme on another theme in customize options.

Anyone facing same issue?...

It's not even changing at all

Calm down, it's normal as most themes are not yet compactible with MIUI 11.

Give it a few weeks and you'd have a selection headache

So I got glo 4G signal tonight after calling 400 in the morning like someone here suggested. Rocking my Redmi note 8 pro on glo 4G here in Abeokuta, Ogun state.

Please call 400 if your phone is glo 4G band 28 enabled and you're not picking 4G signal. Thank you all so much!

Naxo, when miui 12 come, same thing go happen grin.

'See, if you know say u nr fit do without theme customization, nr dey rush to do miui updates, wait for like a month or two before updating'.

That advice na to newbies in particular, but dem nr go still gree in d end.

Despite all the naysayers, I see a lot of people are still switching to xiaomi. Congratulations to everyone who just got their first taste of xiaomi. Enjoy your devices.

Oh so you noticed? The astonishing trend here is that more people jump into the xiaomi train once the naysayers are having a Field day grin
