DSSC advert stipulates that lawyers in addition to professional qualification must have at least 3 years experience. whats your take on a shortlisted applicant with 1 or 2 years experience taking the aptitude test?

any hope ? will the years of experience be used as a yard stick to disqualify him? should he forget about it

May be you didnt understand what the officer mean to say,oral interview is December. The final list is early Jan.

My journey started like that just like yesterday, alas final list came out and two candidates were selected per state. Without knowing anybody I came first in my state and today I am a naval officer.

Thank you for saying this. People just come here to discourage others. If they know it's all about godfathers why did they bother to go and write exam? That's the kind of defeatist mentality that nobody needs here. If you have God the father, you don't need any godfather. But if you already conclude in your mind that you won't make it, just get ready to register again next year. Enough of all this pessimism from folks here. Some people did not even know any OS wen they registered, and today they're officers. Well, nobody should take my word for it; let it be unto you according to your faith and belief.

I laugh in french ...... When they release list shortlisting 5/7 per state for interview how does someone that didn’t sit for exams stand a chance, but nothing is impossible in nigeria shaa!
