The EFCC in a statement said it was baffling that after four years , Diezani had still not had her day in court .

The statement read in part, “ We are intent on bringing Diezani to justice and despite the spirited efforts of the commission in ensuring that she returns to Nigeria and face trial , she has been held back in the UK by an investigation that has spanned almost four years without any signal about when she will be available in Nigeria for prosecution.

“ The EFCC has been frustrated over Diezani , a development that prompted it to seek her extradition to Nigeria , so that she can have her day in court . ”

The former minister is alleged to have diverted billions of dollars and purchased choice properties in several parts of the world .
Diezani ’ s cash and properties as well as those linked to her , worth over $ 250 m , including jewellery, have been forfeited permanently to the Federal Government by an order of court .

Ignorance is indeed a disease...if u are charged for 10 offence and u are exonerated from one does it mean u have been acquitted for all?

Citizenship in all those Caribbean island countries is not a matter of birth or naturalisation. It is merely a matter of cash. Dominica, St Kitts, Antigua, just pay the cash and bang, you have a passport on your hands.

In St. Kitts, all you have to do is pay or 'invest' something in the region of $250k and you are as good as being a citizen. Matter of fact the two Russian brothers behind Telegram bought St Kitt's citizenship that way. They simply invested a couple of millions each into St Kitt's sugar industry and that was it. Got their passports.

But this diplomatic passport for 'change' sh!t is getting messier. And I have heard a whole lot about that Skerrit guy. Not so savoury, I must say. Dude's gangster.

EFCC is just trying to give silly excuses and reasons for it's ineptitude. Allison has conspirators. Jide and Aluko. They've had cases here in Nigeria that has gone no where in the courts. Do those ones have diplomatic passports too? Her family must have benefited from the vile and desperate pilfering of the public purse she engaged in. Bank records will easily show that. Has EFCC gone after them? Yet when it comes to ordinary Yahoo boys we see EFCC showing strength.
