Well I’m a Yoruba and I don’t mix my religion with that of the Northerners. The culture in the North is also part of why they are that toxic and intolerant to other religious folks.

I attended Ile-Keu, read the Quran, Read the transliterations, did my Walimat, and all through those period my Alfa never for once told me to kill for God.

Let me ask you a question, why did the Christian chose to not follow the Old Testament teachings? A God of the Old Testament ordered lion to eat kids just because of abusing a prophet. A God of the Old Testament waged war against people and exterminated people in the most barbaric way. A God of the Old Testament accepted sacrifices and there are lot of unspeakable things in the Bible that if each Christian followed the teaching, there could be chaos.

Why don’t you also give the muslims the benefit of the doubt? Don’t you think some people are insane in this world such that they will always find a justifications for their actions especially if they can relate it to faith?
