Oga what's painful? Would you accept those terms and conditions? I have been worried, but no more. Now am thankful that they didn't even send me message.... At least time and energy saved cos I still would have rejected that evil covenant

A ponzi scheme feeds on people's greed; Nafs feeds on job seekers' desperation, no difference.

It is only a fool that would sign a bond without having ALL the terms and conditions clearly enumerated. They are paying to train recruits and that is wonderful. But everything needs to be placed on the table for all to consider. They got lawyers involved and expect the uninformed recruits to get involved without a lawyer of their own. That is a bullshit arrangement. They screened

I know a lot of us are itching to start working. But carefully consider if it's worth it to sign away five years of your life for what? 50, 000 or 55,000 naira per month?

Four years is simply too much. Two years is okay. Three years is perhaps considerable, but four years is insanity.

Every organization has a policy, but Nafs policy is inconsiderate. It's slavery. They screened to get the best. They should be ready to pay for the best, simple.

Re: Nafs Technologies by Jennifer1712: 5:16pm On Dec 03, 2019
I went for the registration.. it was total crap and waste of time.. Their terms and conditions is rubbish! Payment wasn't discussed.. They only said that on Thursday we should come again for proper briefing.. I'm not going anywhere near that place again.not signing shit! The money allocated for the training is 2.4million.. From my rough calculation, if we're 100 trainees of which I'm sure we are, a month we'll be paid 20k.. The 4yr bond is insane!!!!! You can't just back out the program.. if for instance you've worked for 2years under them and you want to leave, you'll pay back the salary you got during that period.. Anything contrary to that or you try to run, your name will be published in the newspaper and declared wanted! They said NO ESCAPE The salary after d training isn't up to 60k.. So why enter a rubbish covenant They're mad!!!

Re: Nafs Technologies by saintchibu(m): 5:22pm On Dec 04, 2019
I have received various messages on WhatsApp since morning and I decided to come here and give a few explanations here.
First of all I was trained by this same Nafs in 2010 and I've been on the job since then.
Nafs is affiliated to Stenograph LLC, USA. (stenograph.com is their site)
The training is basically getting you to be able to record verbatim proceedings during Court session using Stenograph machines and system.
You will be trained to write at the speed of 180 words per minute using machine shorthand.
The training will last for at least 18 months and you may be paid a stipend during the training. During our time, we were paid 25k per month and mind you ours was for a Federal agency.
At the end of the day, you will be placed on grade level 8 (degree holders) and level 7 (HND holders) of the civil service salary scheme.
On the bond, we signed the bond for 2 years though some people still left few months after the training.
The bond is about protecting the money Edo State government is paying Nafs to train you.
You are acquiring a skill that you can use somewhere else free of charge and they will want to tie you down to justify their investment on you.
The training comes in stages and you will write a test at the end of each stage.
If you fail the test for a particular stage 3 times, you will be asked to go. But when you get to the speed of 120 words per minute it may be hard to ask you to go.
On the job proper, it's an exciting field and a very tasking one cos you will be producing official Court proceedings on a daily basis.
Anymore questions?
