I traveled by night vehicle from Enugu to Abuja recently and we met over a hundred checkpoints with some of them just 100m apart before we got to Giri junction Abuja.
All of them were asking for N50 and N100 and the driver kept distributing money to them, in some instances they will give him change of N500.
Except for those who dont travel around, without sentiments as a Nigerian I think that South East seems to be under seige unlike here in the North with what I saw there
