Clearly the court order is against those earning atrocious 'pensions' while still actively working for the government in other capacities but if you were an objective, clear-minded person and not politically blinded with partisan slavishness, you would have been able to decipher clearly the feelings of Nigerians. Fellow citizens are outraged at the sheer greed and audacity of past governors/heads of assemblies that they arrogate life 'pensions' just for being elected to serve 4 or 8 years at the maximum; obviously such nonsense should not exist whether they become serving Senators/Ministers or not and that is why Tinubu and others like him are mentioned.

Get your information right, [b]Tinubu is a former Senator, [/b]and which years does not matter. And not one of these former gominas deserve either pension or allowances, they don't need either, they were already rich and they have stolen enough to last them and their nebulous family a lifetime.

And more so their governments were owing minor pensioners their dues during their tenures, and these people deserve to be paid first.

Is Tinubu a senator after he became Governor? Did he collect salary as Senator after he left office?
