I see you keep on holding on to she doesn't write her own songs. We are here comparing them to naija artists and you are comparing them with Lauryn Hill and Co. Nicki is my best rapper and I'm not a huge fan of cardi b neither am I a hater. I'm just stating pure facts that she has better songs than naija artists currently. Whether she writes her own song or not is not a yardstick to good songs. After all davido doesn't write his songs even Drake has been busted for having ghost writers. Don't digress from the point. Like kenneygirl said, CardiB ain't no better than the average Nigerian artist, the only difference between her and them is that she plies her trade in America which has the most structured and lucrative music and entertainment industry in the world. If she were to be in Nigeria like those Nigerian artistes you are trying to demarket, nobody would even give a fork about her or her music.
