What y’all think
the first formation is solid; but against a lowly ranked team. iheanacho cannot operate from the right wing as he doesn't have the speed, pace and also the quality of been agile.

This type of formation can do well if there is a switch to a 3:5:2 in the second half especially when a crucial goal is needed.

If you can be optimistic about mad people in Ibadan then why can't you be about the north. Have you been to the so called core north before. Can you compare the north of the 18th to 19th century than to what it is now? I can agree to an extent that the north is less ambitious but saying that it will linger like that for a long time thats base on your own opinion..!!

it will linger for a long time because nothing presently is being done to solve this problem now and in the future....

the leaders/political robbers pay less attention to education, poverty alleviation programs, birth control etc. ..
currently we have over 10million amajiri kids who are not in school...but roaming around with plates...

none of the political class took the educational policy introduced by GEJ for this kids serious..... the former governor of Niger State even claim that almajiri part of their culture....
and recently Rev. Fr. kukah wanted initiate a means to see this kids feeding and education it was grossly resisted probably because of fear of them being converted to Christianity and all....

you can simply project the future by can taking a close and objective look at the happenings now.

There is no problem.

Welcome to the EPL the most competitive league in the world.

The EPL is not like La Liga Bundesliga where one or two teams have dominated for decades.

ikr?

ain't that why Pool is topping the log with 8 points and the 3rd place with 14 points

Yet,
Liga Santander's 1st and 2nd are tied on points and 3rd is just 3 points away
Bundesliga's 1st and 2nd is just 1 point and 3rd is 5 points away
Serie A's 1st and 2nd is 2 points and 3rd is 5 points away.....

even Farmer's league, Ligue 1 is more competitive than EPL in the "HERE and NOW" with 5 points between 1st and 2nd, and 11 points between 1st and 3rd

but, but, but.......EPL is the most competitive league, where one team is strolling to the title undecided undecided undecided

ibadan having the highest concentration of mad people is not something that will continue over time....

but you see alot of nigeria problems all started from colonial era
even the repressive and draconian nature of the police force all stems from the colonial era...
money laundering as well.... this subsequently follow the self rule that prevailed after....
try get PETER EKE (Colonialism and the two publics) it is an article...it takes about the civil and primordial culture.

many of this issue of illiteracy prevalent in the north is something that will linger on for a long time and will return hurt the nation and Nigeria at large...which it has already started. ....
my undergraduate thesis was on insecurity and going through the numerous research works It goes to reveal that illetracyis partly response for the upsurge of the bokoharam activities and religion fanaticism

many of the average northerners I will say this a milion time...are not ambitious especially when compared to the southerners....

try engage many in discussion as regard the current economy woes and you'll be surprised at their response..... many will tell you it is not the government's fault but the will of God....
little reason why they can be easily deceived.....
compare the quest for education and self improvement in each of the geopolitical regions and you marvel at your findings...

their preoccupation with the quest for political power have not gone to better the lives of majority of their people....

You seem not to get my reason for even entering this conversation.
Sad but true
A typical northerner is wired not to b ambitious
We most times are contented with mediocrity
Trained to believe that whatever will be will be
Sad but this is the Northern mentality
What I'm saying from what I've seen in 2yrs and counting is that these points isn't the total state of the people.

history controls a large part of our future....especially historical loopholes that the people have refused to break away from....

for Ibadan... the government have been doing well building health care and the state OYO boast of the best hospital in the country for now...that's a giant step I believe can help curtail the highest concentration of mad people you mentioned

will ask you some random questions...your response I believe will be helpful.

when it comes to being ambitious...
for the northerners and their leaders which I see as the problem

will an ambitious person breed kids in large number in this 21st century? ??

will an ambitious state government's/elites encourage the breeding of kids in large numbers all because it gives them numerical strengths during elections

what priority is given to education in the northern region compare it with the priority given to same education in the south and tell me If they really wanna break way from this historical loopholes in years to come
and does it show being ambitious? ??
This is the problem, comparison of both regions when unfortunately both are failing in Education. If there was "priority" on Education in the South there wouldnt be such deplorable learning condition, juvenile thuggery

what is the focus being placed on self development and human capital development in the northern region
compare please with the south region and see if there is a likelihood there will break away from this loopholes in years to come
For example, where i base in Niger, they're a farming community. I lived in Saki, Oyo state for 2yrs which is also quite a farming town and there isnt much difference between the two of them in HCDI

what is the priority given to free and compulsory education in the north
and what are the leaders doing as regard the free amajiri schools GEJ set up for them...
Its like when you think of the south you think of the historic affluent town. Oyo state the great land of learning boast the same deplorable state of learning facilities as Niger state and you are expecting different results. Why? Because its the south

even awolowo vioced out in his manifesto in the 1979 elections.... that for the north he has just three things for them..

"education

education
education"

what steps have been taken to address the issue of illiteracy in the north and poverty as well over the years and in the future

what is the drive for the average northern to break away from this wicked and callous politicians and elites that have continued to keep them in misery and abject poverty
do they still worship them and attribute their wicked and corrupt rule as an act of God exonerating them of blames

the elites are not ambitous either for their people
Look the North is back back behind the South, but if for anything, the South has their fore fathers to thank. Because this generation will give birth to something on the same pace with the North in times to come
