Either they are accommodating you or not please note that you have to show maintenance fee in your account.
UKVI does need any accommodation letter.

Of course. I said accommodation for a week while I sort out my accommodation. I don't plan on staying with them permanently.

Overstaying is indeed a criminal offence under the Immigration Act, but it's not going to show up on a routine background check; those are for actual convictions and I think some ASBOs show up on those checks too (stand to be corrected). So your school will not see any record of your overstay that way.

Was the person who died a family member? (You stated "a member of the family who invited me'). If so, you might fall under the good reason for overstaying category for leniency (however your 2 month overstay is quite long), but if not, you are in trouble with the Home Office. They can ban you from reentry for up to 10 years.

Basically, you wont know till you apply, but if you do apply, make sure you address your overstay and provide evidence of the relationship to the person who died and how your presence there was required in the interim. I'm sure you must be well aware that the Home Office under the Tories is stricter so you must provide compelling evidence.

Wow that's long. What were they asking? I don't think my interview lasted 5mins. I had to even give short answers cos the interviewer seemed quite slow at typing and was laboring to key in my responses.

Good day guys, i have an issue, I'm about to apply for a tier 4 student visa and so i have been preparing for the interview. Now my problem arises with some questions that would most likely be asked, 1 is

"who would be sponsoring your stay in the uk "
The issue with this is that a family friend is the one sponsoring me, but he has already sent the tuition + maintenance fee to my dads account, so im here thinking considering that they would scrutinize my dads bank statements, wouldn't there be some issues when they see a sudden inflow of money into my dads account?

If i tell them a family friend through my dad, would i need to bring more proof or does my visa get denied automatically?

Another which relates to the first one is "how much do my parents earn annually"

Thing is my parents are full time pastors, and if you know anything about that, pastors don't collect salaries so there is no payslip or what not, my parents don't even know what they get yearly in terms of salary but my dad usually gets an in coming flow of money of up to 2 million probably even more yearly (and that's money that is his)

So considering this whole issue, how do i go about it, i don't want to lie, I'd appreciate any help from the house thanks!

No I did mine at TLS VI. The interviewer was a white guy in the UK I think, it was via video chat, basically asked course title, why I chose the uni, the course and the UK for study.

I've been asked how much my sponsor earns... but I don't think it's a frequent question though.

Since your dad's friend gave the funds to your dad, specifically for your education abroad, the best thing would be for you to open an account and have the funds deposited into an account with your name. When asked the source of funds and your sponsor you simply say your father. All that's required is proof that you have such funds available, simply provide a statement covering the required 28 days.

So in a situation where i am asked how much my sponsor earns, what do you suggest i do? if i give them a value, do u think it can go wrong in anyway?
