Neeri:Not a senior, however, I feel I can say a little. In my opinion, I will advise you not to allow "another person" raggae spoil your blues. That being said, I will say you should move on with your IELTS, this mostly isn't a cakewalk for many and demands a lot of time to read and ace. So, the earlier you begin, the better for you. You have more nuts to crack along the way and trust me this shouldn't be an issue for now. Way forward: You can proceed to apply for IELTS with the current passport, and when you are done with court proceedings and the divorce case, you simply do a name change just the same way you did when you tied the knut. Just remember that you wouldn't be needing the older name change any longer, rather your divorce certificate. On the other hand, as always, I often tell people to do whatever makes them sleep well at night. Know that we may give you all the advises there is, but the final decision and choice rest SOLELY with you - i.e put your dis/advantage into the equation and pull it off. But remember at all times and in all your choice making that CRS isn't smiling, and this game of CRS score is all about the points. By next year you're already about to lose some points if you're 29/on borderline now. Therefore, truly it is really up to you. My 2 CAD. I hope this helpful, and I'll like to thank you for reading. |

Thecannylady:Not a senior, but one like you. Abeg click continue, it just gives you more forms to fill regarding the number of people to follow you. Afterward, you can save and exit questionnaire. But remember, this means that you have accepted the offer. Congratulations, mate. I hope this is helpful, and I'll like to thank you for reading. |

Neeri:If your passport expires March 2020, then you can go ahead and renew now.. I don't know if you can get an official letter or something from the court will show you're already in the process of divorce that will be acceptable by immigration for change of name... WES doesn't need passports for credential evaluation, so you can go ahead and start your evaluation using your maiden name while the passport renewal is in progress.. You can't write IELTS with a name different from that on the passport...however, you can be reading for your IELTS to write when new passport comes.. all the best ![]() |

Hi guys, please what does it mean when the agent at IRCC says over the phone that eligibility is under review required? Does it mean if one has an LOE with the application it automatically goes under review required? Or some documents for the eligibility require review? Thank you. |

Titaness:Yes, but it wasn't the account I used for the t bills. I added statement of another account that had about 100k in it to serve as a buffer incase exchange rate became unfavourable. It wasn't necessary though. |

You need to raise a CSE asap explaining that there might have been an omission somewhere or an oversight by the VO. Resubmit the POF docs and an updated bank statement to prove the money is still there and request a positive consideration. You will get PPR once they get the new docs. Congrats to all the ITA and PPR clinchers. Canada will favour us. I missed engaging here. It's been overwhelming prepping for landing. All the best to those still expecting ITA. Do not give up. Ps @ yemblaze I am updating the hall of fame small small as time permits. No vex sis ![]() NanaF: |

Thank you everyone for your contributions on this site. They have been very helpful. Please I have a question; Hubby is the PA and he has 70% of the pof in his account while I have 30% in my personal account. Can I transfer this money to him? Or do I just need to print my own bank statement and add to the application? Thanks for your help |
