I remember those days, that was what i was always shouting. then gazzuzz was not fully into the car sales game and una cult was reigning supreme. Una work then was just to be pouring sand into other people's garri.

Even when cosplay eventually appeared on the scene and was very active messing up people's means of livelihood i remember vividly una mantra then was "full disclosure!!!!!".

Now that you have had a taste of car sales, it has now turned to "the onus is on the buyer to do due dilligence" lolz. What can i say? every man will experience what his fellow man did.

I dont sell cars. and in as much as it excites window shoppers when these sought of things happen, they sing the praise of whomever dug up the dirt and encouraging the person. Real buyers often dont make noise here and they do due diligence.
Me i have always maintained it is wrong to negatively distrupt peoples means of livelihood but i still enjoy the drama thou

Gazzuzz should understand he has enemies whatsmore, he angered so many more people, probably more than he thinks when he made the mistake of trying to pull down another car dealer here. So he should know many vengeful eyes are on him and tread very carefully. All the same he should continue to embrace peace and soar higher. He should not let a few bitter people drag him down again to their level. #endrant.

This nairaland is funny, gazzuzz don give me plenty advice on my precious car and I appreciate him for that, but on this particular case, gazzuzz you no try at all, i go still ask you for advice on my new car when the need arises

We Nigerians are our problem, the yankee where the car was bought from the onset, to the best of my knowledge they do “full disclosure”, so even a novice knows what he’s buying

This reminds me of my Lexus, as a novice then, my own friend ripped me off cos I dint know jack abt checking vin or history pre-entry to Nigerian border, and mehn did the car give me hell from time to time because it was sick right from on set

But for my second car, I inspected several car, did vin checks since owners refused to do full disclosure for us buyers and I saw plenty yama yama fine car, one white Infiniti g35x at ikeja (the car park near computer village) that is flooded which I later still saw the advert here on nairaland, and the owner was claiming car is clean , car is clean

Nobody is trying to drag anybody down, but truth is we Nigerians are wicked and we shld turn from our evil ways


I have visited copart several times and even when a car is remaining only chassis they would still give full disclosure and a caveat emptor so you as a buyer know what you’re buying

Oga boss, you seem to be defending gazzuzz more than usual, it’s not about foes trying to pull anybody down nah, i don’t comment much on nairaland this days cos I’ve grown from the child I used to be when I just registered to being a somewhat responsible fellow, you do need to grow up and see there was a fault in the advert, if a vehicle mileage was rolled back, it’s unfair to any intending buyer whether or not he does a vin check

Like a post som1 made saying some people are not happy here cos of what happened but rather happy they dint opt/rush to buy it when it was advertised

The said guy has built a reputation and so some people might just buy based on trust and not do due diligence but as a seller, it is your duty to protect your customer’s interest but it is compulsory you make an interest as well

Well, lessons learnt again, trust nobody, all man for himself in Nigerian, that’s the exact reason Nigeria and Nigerians are not growing

If it is; isn’t it obvious what you guys are doing, moving in droves defending ills all around and cyber bullying peeps who oppose any wrong you do, my statement said “to the best of my knowledge yankee does full disclosure” and suddenly that makes me a child, if u were learned enough you would understand what “to the best of my knowledge” means but ur Demi god that posted a car saying “no dent and scratches” which later turned out to be an accidental car from hitting an animal and also a rolled back mileage(which he dint disclose at the beginning) is a saint to you and someone else is playing defense for him that since it’s a naija used car, no dent and scratches while posting the vin means he mustn’t say it’s accidental or not

If ur demi god was going to take ur advice, he would have shut up (not create the thread) and not stained his reputation or better still stated clearly that the mileage had been rolled back and it initially hit an animal before touching down 9ja but no he dint, and som1 also went ahead to change the title of the thread and put som1 else’s name as for sale
