Here is your master justifying jailing critics that embarrassed his government clown and not backing down. The tyrant has no shame the BBC journalist had to scold him several times for abusing human rights.

Agba Jalingo was arrested by Gov Ayade of your saintly PDP for writing about how he stole N500,000,000 belonging to Calabar Microfinance Bank so don't ascribe it to Buhari. Udom Emmanuel has equally had some critical journalists arrested.

On the other hand, Sowore was arrested for trying to organize a revolution which he said will bring the government down.

The Abiri Jones you mentioned has never criticized Buhari neither has Sambo Dasuki.

Abiri Jones has issues with the Army who accuse him of having links to Niger Delta militants who carried out bombings of pipelines in 2016. He in turn accuses the Army of being behind the bombings in order to create conditions favourable enough for them to carry out a coup.

Dasuki is being accused of siphoning billions of Dollars meant to be used to procure weapons to fight Book Haram into private pockets, while serving as the NSA.

Okay. The below happened during Goatluck Jonathan regime.

Please sir, does this justify what is going on in our country now ? So, if Jonathan did wrong against journalist then it’s normal for Buhari to do the same right ? Are we moving forward or going backward as a nation ? I can’t still imagine how we got here. Wrong is wrong no matter who did the wrong.

This long-winded and verbose report says so much in general and so so little with particular reference to its title.

Interestingly, the recently released 2019 global report of the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) shows that Nigeria is not a hostile work environment for professional Journalists.

that you felt you're knowledgeable or you're updated doesn't mean You've what's called common sense

Buhari introduced and used the inglorious decree 2 and 4 of 1984 to commit the worst forms of human rights abuse. Those who knew the National Security Organization detention cells under Lawal Rafindadi can attest to this.

So unfortunate he still came back disguised as a leopard in sheep clothing in a democratic dispensation to continue same brutality while being cheered on by mummified zombies.
The mummified zombies are the worst enablers that egg him on. When he is facing charges at the International Criminal Court they will be no where to be found.

[s][/s]So I'm Premium Times that made the investigative reporting? I guess you choose which truth you wants to believe in your warped mind? Guess you can see that the affected countries are numerically arranged?

Meanwhile, reasonable Nigerians don't need any CPJ ranking to know that human/journalists rights abuse is horrible in Nigeria under Buhari.

While I do agree that Buhari's government has been messing with press freedom . . . as someone who grew up under Abacha's regime where we were even scared of mentioning his name on our own front porch, I find this report really hard to believe - and after reading through it, I'm even more confused as to where this statistic came from.

You can lie oo lol

With this concocted data of yours why is Buhari or Nigeria missing here on the real and very credible data provided by CPJ?

Should Nigeria not be number 1 on the list?

Your false data says there have been 60 arrests but CPJ says you and premium times are chronic liars because China tops with 48 journalist arrests while Nigeria is nowhere to be found on their data

Can you show me Nigeria on the attached data for 2019?

Bloody lying wailers

See zombie trying so hard to defend Major General Buhari (re.tarded)

You're just mixing things up and I fear for Nigeria with your kind occupying public space. The list you've been brandishing is for journalists jailed or imprisoned by courts for running foul of draconian laws in the respective states. You'll see that no nation listed there is a democracy. For you to even compare those autocratic states with Nigeria shows the depth we've fallen to as a nation.
Here's a link showing Nigeria as the second most dangerous place for journalists in Africa by the same cpj. You need to be well informed before jumping around like a dog on heat
