I just got an admission into Salford University for MSc program starting in March 2020. Please I have some questions to ask

1. Having submitted all required documents and instructed to pay the tuition deposit, how soon will I get CAS

2. I have once been denied visit visa about 2 years ago, do I need to state it when applying for the tier4 visa

3. Is it advisable to apply for student visa along with my wife and daughter or I should apply alone. (which one gives a better chance)

4. At the completion of the MSc program, what chance do I have, if I want my family to reside with me in UK

1. Usually universities issue CAS between 3-5 working days as soon as they confirm the initial deposit and you meet the condition of their offer.

2. Yes u should state it

3. Best to apply on your own, maybe after your first semester you can invite them for the summer holiday

4. Yes they stand a good chance as dependants. But for now, I’d focus on how to get a job and change my status after studying.

1. Depends on how busy the admission team guys are.

2. Yes. State all previous refusals.

3. Chances are equal. Just be sure you have a little more than ‘enough’ maintenance funds for all 3 of you.

4. Chances depend on your skills. Your course of study. Your ability. Your skills. Your skills. Your experience. Your skills. Your ability to beat hundreds (nay thousands) of other applicants for the same position. It is difficult, but not impossible.

1. Your school would normally want to see your maintenance fee in an account for 28days along side your other documents like certificates, transcripts etc. So you should have those ready before you'd be issued CAS, I think that's part of UKVI policy to the universities. The CAS could be issued in 2days max, if your school is proactive. Try to follow up with mails as well, it might hasten things for you.
2. According to precious responses from the elders of the group, you'd need to and add the reference numbers.
3. As long as you have the funds for their maintenance.
4. Question above my clearance level and pay grade . Elders will answer you.

This depend on the sector and nobody can predict chances . ....

just make sure that year of masters try to learn revelant skills within your industry, learn how to sell yourself well in an interview and make sure your cv does a good job at selling you ... dont just sit down and be going to class use that year to brush on professional development as UK job market is not so much about educational but more about relevant work experience

If you get an extension ,Yes.
But don't arrive POE a day after the given date.

A friend school resuming jan 16 and is ready to apply today. I wonder if using standard is ok . However it might just take 15 working days ..lol. making it too much of a rush

And When was your Biometric please?
Did you use STANDARD VISA application also

I applied on the 26th of November, got a date the next day and did my biometrics and an interview. Yeah I used standard. I didn't even need to do TB test cuz I recently returned from the UK after completing my BEng.

I have something bothering me. I wanted to visit my wife in UK last year while she was doing her bsc course and I applied for a visit visa but was refused. The refusal was due to the amount in my account was much compare to what i earn. Was also told in their refusal letter that any future application you make will be considered on their individual merits. However you are likely to be refused unless the circumstances of your application changes. No right of appeal. My wife is on about doing her msc and she want me and the kids to come over to the UK, in the process of making a dependent application visa I went to the previous application I made 2018 and I found out the agent stated that I have no child at the column for extra information. I am really worried if this will be a problem to my new dependent visa application. I am in tears and don't know what to do.

My Uni used 500 last month to calculate mine before issuing CAS...

really!!! I felt they make use of the current exchange rate, using 500 is so out of the equation.

Did you follow up with mails and calls? They ought to have sent it though. I mailed the school two days, a day before maintenance was due and called them immediately I uploaded, it still took like 24hrs. Before the CAS was issued. Being rush period now for January intake, it might get a bit longer.

its really pissing me off, i called and mailed. They even said that they have called d bank to verify and its genuine, so what d hell is remaining! I have to resume January 13

You basically pay for IHS & visa fee on gov.uk and you get redirected to TLS to book a date. On the date you booked, you'd submit your biometrics and then wait to be interviewed (standard application) while priority & super would just submit their documents, give biometrics and leave.
