MuttleyLaff:no sir, we have seen this many times in movies and in reality. Not only that, you will have noticed that it is always the bad guys who make such request. Eg, in the beautiful story told by immortal technique in his track titled 'dance with the devil'. In this song a boy who wanted to join a gang was asked to prove his 'faith' by raping a woman. Unknown to him this woman he was to rape was his very own beloved mother. He raped her but wasn't aware because this gang had covered her head. It is only a devil that would test your faith by asking putting you in a disastrous mental situation where you have to choose between a loved one whom you feel and touch, and a diety that you never knew, habe never seen and never heard (except the thought in your head). Why would a God of love test the faith of a man this way.. why then do you muttleylaff find islamic radicals evil? Is it not God also testing their 'faith'? Huh? After all this God you choose to serve is one who has played a very important role in wars fought by his tribe-the Israelites. Have you muttleylaff put your self for once in the shoes of the cannanites or the dwellers within the wall of jericho? Is it not the same way you see islamic jihadist now? To you they are evil but to them they are simply exuberating their faith in their precious God. How dare you claim Yahweh is the light. Abraham had not killed his son in the flesh, but verily verily I tell you, isaac had been slain in the mind of his beloved father.. 1 Like |

GoodMuyis: The story of the Roman Emperor Nero and his exploits does nothing to refute the fact that the Jesus character is fake. The Romans were professional warmongers, and probably had the first ever known professional soldiers to be let loose into a conflict situation. The Romans manufactured Christianity in their attempt to replace true history with the fakery inside of Abrahamic religious text. Anyone who studies Roman history ought to have realised that the true aim of the Romans was to conquer the world, and that they manufactured the Christian bible as their means of their attempts to achieve that, they failed because they were overwhelmed by the Ottoman Turks another major ancient empire that would later make use of a different type of Abrahamic religious text alongside their swords. |

The irony is mind boggling, one cannot persecute a lie. One cannot prosecute a falsehood. Only things that are correct and true can really be subjected to prosecution. Ancient Egyptian Mythology is a subject of prosecution by both Christianity and Islam. Christianity cannot be persecuted but it can be revealed not to be true. Another way of looking at it, is that only if Christianity was real would it have been able to assume that they have been persecuted, but Christianity is fake, therefore one cannot use such terminologies in association with it’s false narratives. Reverse psychology is one of the greatest tricks inside of Abrahamic religious text. When the Eurocentric warmongers set out to exploit foreign land, Abrahamic religious dignitaries were always present as part of the invading force. Christianity doesn’t have the moral right to be making use of the term ‘persecution’ and Christianity in the same sentence unless it’s under the context of their own confessions of the uncountable times that Christianity was the one involved in such persecution and all the other wicked activities that can be associated with persecution. 1 Like |

Amujale:Conspiracy theories are easily deflated not by hearing more of the theories but by asking relevant questions. It is a well known fact that the Jews hated the Romans. So, if the Romans invented the historical Jesus, how did it find its way into the Jewish traditions (the Jews dislike Jesus to no small measure)? The Jews actually boast "we killed Jesus!" |

Amujale: Amujale:You and vayina keep avoiding the question I keep asking which is, Do you not learn anything from George Orwell's Animal Farm because Napoleon, Snowball, Squealer, Boxer and Mr Jones et al are not real? Funny people some, who "cannot use such terminologies in association" because in their opinion, they are "false narratives", when Words that have been written are not only real but create all other things that exist. Believers, I call them. Deniers of the physical material things before them for the crap they create inside their head. Not that there's crap in your head, mind. Just that, hmm. You say Christianity has done much wrong because you see it as a belief system, and not as the education system that it is, the same education system that allows you to see as you do. Or tell, did you not educate yourself in Christianity? Would your eyes open without it? In fact, are you not a Christian? You sure as hell behave like one, asking us all to believe you without providing evidence for your claim after ensuring that we see when you present it. A believer, or at worst, one who asks others to believe them, like those pastors who peddle religion that you claim is false. Makes me wonder if you engaged at all in the thread "what would civilization be like without religion", someone will post you a link. As fiction as the Bible is; and not just Jesus alone, but Moses, Adam and Eve, Job etc, it is a book, a teaching tool, and not the God. It shows how learning evolved over time and teaches how to learn and how to teach and open eyes, and those who at least accept that the physical words themself are real, and not fiction, but a substance that exists in a physical book you'd feel if I whack your head with it. The fact that a book is fiction does not invalidate it, especially one that has been influencing thought for almost 2000 thousand years. That influence, which you are aware of, is not "fictional", obviously has "real" "character" and "terminologies" which have done quite a lot, bad and good, and you can't show that to be false, or can you? You fail to give us Nigerians credit, is what I think. In my lifetime there've been period when a family had one Bible on the mantle no one touched it except pa or the lucky one who carried it to church for him on Sunday. And now, everyone has one. Over time, more people will read it and as more time goes by more will understand what they read and perhaps consider the implications of their understanding. I wonder what we'd be if we didn't have the Holy Bible. We'd all believe the Quran I guess since something will fill the void. 2 Likes |

budaatum: All the Abrahamic religious text are fake, false and counterintuitive. The Abrahamic religions include Christianity, Islam and Judaism. All the Abrahamic religions peddle a false representation of history. In other words, the Abrahamic religions are a bunch of false ideologies that are used as tools of propaganda; either to advance their false claims or as a political tool by Arabian fundamentalists or Eurocentric rulers. |

Truth is a good alternative to a falsehood. Real history is the alternative to the fake narratives. African secular history is the narrative that ought to learnt by all Africans; all the false narratives similar to the Abrahamic religions need to be thrown into the intellectual bin. Abrahamic religious text should take its place on the fictional section of our libraries, far away from our own personal spirituality or secular history. |

"Humans are immortal Souls" means Humans are "Living Spirit Souls of God that have everlasting Life". When we die, our Souls are havested by God. The Wicked(Weeds) Souls are burnt and perished. The Righteous enter The Kindom of Heaven for Re-use. Jesus' Resurrection the Third Day is the main Relevance of the Immortality of Human Souls. Christ is "The Faith" and Those Souls who believe in Him shall not die but shall have Eternal Life. 1 Like 1 Share |

budaatum: Can we start from what John the Baptist say that, Jesus will baptized fire which is the confirmation of the release of the Spirit of God on all flesh. Joel 2:28 The animal sacrifice prescribed in Judaism is not perfect because animal blood which is used for atonement did not Soul or consciousness of wrong doing. Remember the blood of Abel speak and demand for justice. Since God will not demand for human sacrifice, something has to be done. Jesus brutal death can be trivialized but that does not change the fact that **He do away with animal sacrifice and provide a better one through himself** and that was done once and for all. He break the standing order that only the High Priest can approach God directly, by giving us the Holy Ghost and showing us that we can call God our father without fear, of which the Muslim are still much afraid to do. 1 Like 1 Share |

budaatum: Care explaining what that is? Furthermore, what question is it you write about? Are they the numerous questions that you avoid during our previous discussions? Or the inexplicable questions that you ask yourself when shuffling in and out of your stance on Christianity. There really is no point arguing with you because we already know your stance on the Abrahamic religions isnt stable. It isnt my concern what you personally choose to believe because i dont really care about uncle Toms. budaatum: Again a wayward and uncalled for attack. Calling the truth crap. Defending all the lies inside of Christianity eventhough you have been caught on many occasions accepting the fact that Christianity is fake. budaatum: Here obviously shows that you know Christianity is fake yet you continue to peddlw their false narratives. Making you an uncle Tom. budaatum: You ought to go and whack the Romans with it for producing a weapon of mass destruction. budaatum: You started an unprovoked and disingenous attack and have the nerve to call someone else foulmouthed? The post wasnt addressed to budaatum, yet you took upon yourself to open your response to my unclad post with a senseless attack and continued that trend as highlighted in the above quotes. Therefore, dont even start with your disingenous narrative. Everyone can see that you are a trouble maker that hasnt any substance in your response to my initial post. |

Amujale:You have only asserted stuff here. Stuff you learnt first by reading your Bible then going off to investigate. What evidence have you provided than mere assertions and which you ask to be believed? Do you not trust that others will come to realisation someday if you work harder at providing evidence instead of abusing people because you think you know better? I'm not surprised though. All you see a book as is something to believe in with no regard of the skills gained by reading it and trying to understand it, despite it being what taught those skills to you. 1 Like |

Amujale:Nairaland rules do not require a post be to the person who responds. Others come here to read too, thankfully. And since this thread was created by me you should expect me to respond to as many posts as I wish to however I want. You don't know my stance on Christianity. And no one is arguing with you. Nor was "crap in head an insult", as implied by my addition of "mind". But I guess one can be misunderstood so let me help you. The Bible, which is what Christians worship, is a book, and books are not fake, even if they are historically, and in other ways, incorrect, and especially mythology, which a lot of the Bible is. And if the Romans did give the Bible, or anyone else for that matter, I'd be rather grateful to them personally. Just the thought of not having anything to read scares me. The intention of the Bible is not to deceive, as you claim, but for one to learn skills of reading, and thinking, and reasoning from, and as suggested, where you likely learnt those skills yourself. Or do you see any other book being made available for people to learn from? Have you asked yourself what state we'd be in if we didn't have it? The only unfortunate here is the notion that it must be believed, but that's just an indication of the infant learning level of the reader who will go on to question their understanding someday just as you and many have done. Or would you claim to believe what you claim, instead of actually understanding what it is that you know? I'll accuse you of being a Christian again. You won't get it of course, but someday it would be understood that the peddling of belief is a skill learnt precisely from the Bible, the skill of infants who lack understanding but who will grow up and leave their childish ways someday and gain understanding. |

budaatum: Again, no substance, nothing reasonable in your response except for more gibberish. When you seem fit to respond accordingly we'll take in from there. For now, all you seem to display is a distain for common sense. Reverse psychology isnt working for you, you began abusing whilst veering of on a tangent, and you had to be put back into your box. So dont complain when you attack someone and that person fights back, take it on the chin and move on; given that you are the person who initiated a response as such. |

Re: What Did Jesus Do? by budaatum: 5:54pm On Dec 15, 2019 |
Amujale:There's no way all I write is gibberish. And if you take your time, you'd see that. Christianity, or shall I say, the Abrahamic Religions, evolved out of Africa as syncretised in Egypt. Its a historical fact, and is pretty much what you are saying, though correct me if I misrepresent you. It's also fortunately detailed in biblical mythology, the unfortunate commonly known 'history' of the time. It wouldn't have been, if the earlier African writings had spread, but unfortunately, it didnt. The Egyptians had a priestly class who kept knowledge to themselves which over time died off with them such that latter Egyptians believed superbeings came down from heaven and wrote the hieroglyphs and built the pyramids. If only they had educated the masses to read those heiroglyphs, can you imagine how great Africa would have been? Today, even, millions of us do not yet know anything about Egypt, or our own local history. And you fail to see that that is where the Bible comes in, to show what a story of a people looks like abd teach you how to discover your own. If we had not learnt yo read it we'd be further back in development, is my opinion. You mentioned my view of Christianity earlier on, so I'll oblige, for what it's worth. I personally think it is a religion that is very easily manipulated by individuals sometimes for the good and for bad, but on the whole its done quite a lot of good considering the increase in life expectancies in nations that have adopted it. Yes, Christianity's history is murky - walls of Jericho, Tower of Babel and the referenced in Scripture error of the Egyptians as narrated in the story of the Garden of Eden: a story of liberation distorted into the basis of enslavery "by the Romans" you would say. (And funny, I keep saying, because I see what you mean but wonder why you don't seem to wonder why the Jews themselves, long before the Romans, decided to tell Biblical myths to "deceive" themselves if not so they could have a record of their historical past as they knew it so that they don't get forgotten in history like the Egyptians were and have their dead dug up and paraded in museums like the Egyptians are, but have eternal peace like their book teaches them to have.) There is a reason Jesus is said to have asked what truth is. An innocuous question but loaded with meaning and implication. A person who has not read would not know the sort of things you call truth. Christianity solves a problem Egypt had, and that still continues to destroy us today. Any God that asks anyone not to eat of the fruits of the garden of knowledge of good and evil is a tyrant, and a devil. And people who believe their gods tell them not to eat of the fruits of the tree of knowledge and evil will live shorter lifespans. I'm going to do humble with you. Kindly recommend reading material on your topic so I can do home work please and accept my apology for insulting you. I did not mean "crap in head as an insult". It means things one choses to believe in one's head, as opposed to the things one has learnt by the use of ones senses; the latter being what I accuse you of if you'd pardon my choice of meanings. |
