They didn't shift the blame. In a press release, it is pertinent to make some certain description of how the accident happened.

Further investigations would unravel the reason(s) why the PMT driver lost control of his vehicle. An eyewitness said he tried to avoid an okada rider, and lost control of his vehicle in the process.

They haven't accused the driver of any wrongdoing. Losing control of your vehicle is not a wrongdoing in any jurisdiction. Anyone can lose control of their vehicles.

Do I blame the drivers? No. Those drivers are like guiding angels. Try for once and drive from Lagos to Onitsha. But if village people are on your case, push it all the way to Enugu. However, if you really want to challenge God, drive the Lagos to Abuja route. Thereafter you will learn to give accolades to these drivers.

I am surprised that accidents like this do not happen more often considering the hazard called Nigerian roads that they ply everyday.

But GUO didn't include the fact that PMT was trying to avoid the okada.

Anyone reading it would assume reckless driving by Peace who just left thier lane and ran into GUO.
