a friend decides to come back home and settle down after almost all his years in Abidjan.
He's thinking of settling down in Owerri with family
please which neighbourhood do you suggest

not anymore. lot of hotels olosho and yahoo boys. go to umuguma.

After World bank. It's still in the same locality.

I will advice Works Layout, it's reserve although close to IMSU but not crowded with hotels like world Bank area.

Orji is also a good neighborhood where family people reside. The Ama-wire axis, just that security is questionable there.

Amakohia is also good, but filled with business activities and low thinking traders.

MCC area is another sure bet. Just the bad road and traffic jam.

In all, I will suggest you move to works layout. It's in the centre of the city and traffic jam is minimal.

Take my advice, no area.. That town is messed up. Enugu is better, please.
