AJ became very cautious and fearful of going into a battle with Ruiz knowing fully that this dude did knocked him down not once but four solid times and any mistakes will lead to the same outcome like the first fight.

Ruiz did a lot of psychological damage to the psyche of Joshua which he still didn't recover from before the second fight therefore he had to adopt such strategy to get his victory.

This guy don't know what he us talking about. Had Joshua fought differently, the story will not be the same. Joshua fought the way he was supposed to. People underestimate Ruiz because of his physique. But the guy is a very good boxer with fast hands and power. Wilder will not dare trade with Ruiz and hope to win. You stick and move. Ruiz beat any heavyweight who trade punches with him.

Agreed! y'all should listen to what Holyfield said about the then 19-year-old Ruiz. Baba claimed one of the reasons he retired was cause Ruiz constantly out-hustled him in training. Truth is Ruiz has very fast hands and will always win in close quarters.
