Pls, gurus in d house, Which one is better fuel efficiency BTW 2009 Toyota corolla 1.8L engine I4 plug and 2006 Toyota corolla 1.8L engine, I4 plug. Are they d same in terms of fuel effiency. Pls help with this information

2006 has combined MPG 29.
The 2009 is better in fuel economy

Boss nurey I noticed that fuel economy for other 4-cylinder car like Toyota camry and Honda accord on the fuel economy info site are also close to the statistics you shared for the corrola. Does this mean a negligible difference too or the statistic are wrong

There is a big difference between Corolla and the 4 cylinder Camry and accord.

Corolla combined hovers at 30 to 31 while accord and Camry maintain 24 to 26 if you turn it into L/100km you will get a margin difference between 2 to 4L

People dey rush 03-07 Corolla in Nigeria like an ashawo virgin, the car can take all the abuse you have lined up for it. I would advise the 06 Corolla to 09 corolla

Then if you go a distance of 500km and you save 4L for every 100km that's 500 x 5 2500 for a return trip it's 5k savings on fuel.

The difference is the Skirt and Blouse the Sports is wearing. But I will advise you go for LE if you will be using the car in a rough and bad road.

Funny enough, 2005 Honda Civic has better fuel efficiency than both.

Back to your main question, i think the 2006 will do better since its lighter.
