sissoko22:How can you kill or destroy life or property of person you clain to love? What type of love is that? Again, why would very little misunderstand weather between a Muslims or Christians or between a Muslims- Muslim end up at Christian been murdered? Let me share with you my experience after staying with some young Muslims. I discovered why most attack against Christains has to do with wrong teaching. They impart this wrong teaching (hate) the child is too young and at that age everything you told him or her become true and way of life. I stayed in a Muslims country before i don't hate Muslims only killing. 1 Like |

azikiweironsi:Zoo or confuse people. Oil or no oil many ibos want out from Nigeria. If you doubt let UN conduct a referendum now? What lead to Nigerian war is the same problem of today, not necessary oil. The problem was not solved then and now. A country where some people are working hard some are not but will share the money. Havent you had about restructuring where people will have to work from their village not Abuja. The Way Nigeria is structure no good country work like that. And such system will never ever work. But why are some people upset when they hear fairness or what upset others when people want to leave a union. All they need is your support. If they suffer or do well thereafter is non of your business. And i don't think the ibos will reject/stop any group from leaving Nigeria Just last week I met a profession, non-Nigerian. He told me about Nigeria and Africa that one day Nigeria will break up one day maybe not in this generation. He once met Nigerian ex-head of state, OBj and he currently writing a book about Africa. As for what is happening, Nigeria is a mess. 2 Likes |

bilulu: You're just talking out of ignorance. what do you mean by " Many muslims don’t take nomads as muslims but they can lead prayers in the mosque while a Yoruba muslim can not?" can't you see you're even contradicting yourself? who are the " many Muslims?" Besides, using same logic, how many muslims are leading prayers in Yoruba dominated areas? |

hammerU: Its your delusion that Yoruba's follow any body blindly, we are the most independent minded, whereas yorubas are forming institutions and pioneering new missions your people have not been able to depart from colonial Masters tutelage with your Catholicism and slave victim mentality, you think hawking goods and amassing illegal wealth makes you relevant, it goes beyond that, The division your people crave with the yoruba muslim lie does not exist and never will, envy and jealousy will never allow you to understand us, we still lead, others follow 1 Like |

franchasng: Even a baby when reading this your write up will realise its self serving and never the truth, you said ojukwu was wealthy as if you are talking to babies, what has wealth got to do with power and the future stupendous wealth to be gain from "our oyel" like you people will claim, the crude oil issue may not be touted as reason for ojukwu to declare independence of south east then but the other regions know the implications of such division, with the calculative and greedy mind of an Igbo man nobody will believe that you people will overlook the crude oil newly discovered. As for Awolowo committing suicide, its just the lies haters of Awolowo like you love to tell yourselves and they are welcome to it, a 78 year old baba to you is not old enough to die, and even if he committed suicide he has a right to do whatever he likes just like your ojukwu decided to run away after killing millions of Igbo through greed, you think Awolowo with the massive support he had from Yoruba's home and abroad will be afraid of ibb threat? |

vannessa7:You are a woman, you are not arguing with facts, you are arguing with emotion, and its quite understandable...but I will keep enlightening you with facts, if you doubt whatever I say, make a finding from foreign sources to know the truth, don't rely on Lagos-Ibadan express media publications established by selfish Yoruba politicians to champion their personal political cause. My uncle was a right hand man of Major Chukwuma Nzeogwu. He was a captain as at then and a Nigerian army band leader. He was among the soldiers that went to Saudana's residence. He told me a lot of secrets about the coup and the civil war. They never liked Ojukwu, Aguiyi Ironsi and Azikiwe because they were nationalists who wanted a one united Nigeria. Ojukwu wanted a united Nigeria but the pogrom which Gowon refused to stop just as Buhari is refusing to stop Fulani herdsmen massacre of middlebelt people today was the reason Ojukwu called for independence of Biafra and he didn't wake up and declared it, he got the backing of Igbo and some Niger Delta leaders before he did. Blame Gowon and the blood thirsty north for the civil war and not Ojukwu. This is where Yoruba media liars misinformed the Yorubas since 1966. Why not Google about the war and read foreign accounts by non Nigerian journalists. The eminent cause of the war was the 1966 northern pogrom. Nzeogwu and the Igbo soldiers who carried out the first coup of 1966 made a huge mistake. And if they truly wanted to carry out a revolution, they ought to have killed Igbo leaders too like Nnamdi Azikiwe, etc to balance things, so they messed up and even my late uncle, and father, and every other reasonable Igbo man agreed that Nzeogwu and co messed up, we all know, we admit our errors unlike Yorubas who hardly agree to their mistake, they will always claim just and sophisticated even when it is glaring that they have messed up, they won't accept, another problem of the Yorubas. Igbos lost a lot when Igbos were the ones controlling the affairs of Nigeria but the coup and civil war gave the opportunity for Igbos to start from zero, it was unfortunate. But don't you ever blame Ojukwu, Ojukwu did the right thing because if he had remained silent during the pogrom, the north would have finished Igbos in 1966 even when there was no war, so Ojukwu saved Igbos from total annihilation by the north during the unwarranted pogrom. Instead of Yorubas to be honest and codemn the north and Gowon they rather hide the truth as usual and blame Ojukwu but when the pogrom was going on, Yorubas remained silent except for Wole Soyinka who condemned it back then. The same thing is happening today. Fulani herdsmen terrorists are busy going about murdering Middlebelt people in their homes while the Nigerian army as alleged backs them up.....Igbos have been condemning this for so long, Yorubas remained silent as usual not until recently that the Fulanis brought the madness to Yoruba land that the Yorubas now started screaming fire fire like it started today....so do you think if it were to be in 1960s that we have brave and courageous soldiers from Middlebelt, this Fulani constant massacre of Middlebelt people is not enough to provoke Middlebelt soldiers to act or even challenge Buhari led government You guys will just sit comfortably in your hut and be blaming people without considering the tight situation they are in. I keep saying it, the problem of the Yorubas is selfishness and wickedness....they are too selfish, so long as an evil is not happening in their doorstep, they will never condemn it or join others to fight it....it is only when it gets to their doortstep that they start to scream fire. But take a look at great nations like USA, France, Britain, etc....they don't wait for evil to get to their countries before they start to condemn and make effort to stop it....they can overlook all these Islamic terrorists killing their people in their countries in Middle-East, but they know that one day, these terrorists will bring their madness to their countries if they remain silent and not stop them fast! Yorubas need to learn from this, it is their greatest undoing....and yes, I know Igbos have their flaws....but go and ask anybody from any part of the world, Igbos always condemn injustice against anybody or race or tribe....we always carry it on our head like its our case, its our nature, we hate injustice!!! 2 Likes 1 Share |

bilulu: Firstly, I was not the guy you quoted. Secondly, there's nothing like a Yoruba, Hausa, Fulani or whatever mosque. Most of the divisions in Islam is based on sectarianism not tribal. In every mosque, they are selected people(2) who lead prayers- if they are not available, anyone else who's qualified can lead. Now tell me, apart from Hausa dominated areas.. do the hausas' lead prayers where they are minority? |

BabaRamota1980: Living in Nigeria and acting not to no the difference between nomadic and house Fulani is the hight of hypocrisy. Most Muslims don't care anymore about the media trial and judgements passed on us. Re: The New War Against Africa’s Christians - Wall Street Journal by Yujin(m): 5:58am On Dec 25, 2019 |
I feel pained coming to this thread this late. How I wish I was free to contribute to it in its early stage. Any way, the article captures what I've been crying here since 2011. I've been wondering if the European powers are blind to the numerous atrocities going on in Nigeria. Christians are massacred in their thousands in Nigeria without anyone doing anything about it. The Muslim government openly supports and even aids these killings. Their aim is to dominate and force Islam on everyone. Those of us from the Eastern part have been in the forefront of warning other unsuspecting Christians about the evil ploy but we were called all manner of names. I'm glad that finally our voice have been heard and the relevant powers will switch their searchlight on Nigeria. I implore all sane countries to disregard anyone or group who says all the attacks and killings are not religion motivated. It is all lies to cover their evil tracks. Christianity is been strangulated everyday in Nigeria. From the FG direct policies and appointments, to the treatment dished out on Christians. For me the best bet at achieving peace is going the Sudan way of splitting the country into at least countries. Religion is deeply in contest in Nigeria with Islam violently advancing. Any solution outside splitting will only be temporary and the risk of a bloody war will be very great. Muslim fulani herdsmen are being invited from neighbouring West and central African countries to come add to their strength in Nigeria. Nothing will stop the religious onslaught if Nigeria is left to remain the way it is simply because the counter force to Islam is not politically sophisticated to do so. This is the honest truth. However, if war were to ensue, it will just be the monumental destruction of lives and properties without any real progress. My advice is for the western powers to see to the division of Nigeria into religious lines considering some peculiarities to the contraption. NB: Mostly Muslims will kick against the division of Nigeria. You have to ask yourself why they don't want it. 1 Like |

Maol:You guys think we're dumb right? How many fulani herdsmen have been arrested by the government? NONE! Yet, the government was asking victims of slaughter to give up their lands to the terrorist fulani herdsmen. It was shamefully even debated on the Senate. One fulani woman even had the temerity to say herdsmen value cows more than humans. We have all the files and they've all been sent. We are in a new world now where information is readily captured, stored and sent within seconds to any part of the world. It is game up for your criminal elites. I know that there are fulani, Hausa, Kanuri individuals who don't support what's happening but are helpless to do so. They should try and vacate the far north to a more humane area. |

vannessa7:Do not believe what is written here by this poster. It is meant to deceive the gullible. No one in Nigeria will say he/she has not seen or know someone who has been affected by the killings by fulani herdsmen. In fact fulani herdsmen are presently more destructive than Boko haram and have been listed as a terrorist organization by international security bodies yet the Nigerian government hasn't called them so nor effected any arrest of culpable herdsmen. The fulani president once said these herdsmen came from outside Nigeria and can't be fought but barely six months after that statement, he started asking traumatized farmers to donate their lands to these foreign herdsmen who brought wanton destruction to them in the first place. The claim that these fulani herdsmen are non Muslims is laughable. The Muslim government protects and arms them. They openly move about with Ak47 rifles and no security arrests them. They kidnap and get huge ransoms without the Nigerian security doing anything. Shame on you. Some of us know fulanis in and out. Your games are up. I've said that numerous times on this forum. I've dedicated my whole life to the freedom of my people and other Christians from the stranglehold of your terrorist people. The game is on! |

Empiree:Lol. See someone bringing stories of kidnapped kids into issues of killings, destruction of properties and forceful occupation of the victims' lands. Shame on you. The ignoble kidnapping of kids was done by greedy criminals for childless families/women. Those kidnapped kids were well taken care of by their new guardians. They even enrolled them in schools. Compare that to the death and destruction your fulani Muslims bring to Christian areas. Tens of thousands of Christians have been victims of the fulani herdsmen menace. Their lands have been occupied and some even renamed to suit the fulanis with the tacit support of the government of Nigeria. 1 Like |

As for fulani herdsmen, how do you know people killed were CHRISTIANs?. They wrote CHRISTIAN on their forehead?. What we learned was herdmen vs farmers. When did you guys turn it to herdmen vs CHRISTIANs?. In the time of BH too they always screamed Christians were killed yet there are bunch of Muslims and Muslim scholars killed.
