Life! U r looking up to someone, not knowing he too is going thro d same. I work hard to meet ur rating of 4.9+ , but it dropped from 4:85, I was mad at myself, thinking of which rider could have done dis, but find solace in riders having 3.0, so why bother? I don't mind dem blocking me tonight as long as 25th to Sunday is cool, the only hurtful part is just being on d Island now, I don't have the intention of working tomorrow, I've worked for 7 days straight now, so I was a bit sluggish today, even one of our own famous DJ took an hour on a 4km trip, I didn't even bother cos, honestly I'm tired (extra 1k after trip)... The medicine this period, be friendly with riders, smile to chat along with them, while u find a way to make them understand what's coming, the reason and how January will b so boring for drivers, that way they already know what's about to hit them. Once I find myself on 5%, d way I leave 100 change for rider, u will think Jesus is cool in me like that cheesy

Stupid 5%, when u r done with 40, to do extra 20 becomes an issue. At the end u can't even get up to 6k bonus... Bolt can make one patch with devil just to spite them.

So if he decides to use the ones everybody uses , which is 20w50 .. And how often will he have to change oil promptly? With full synethic oil you can go as far as 7k miles or more depending on the brand of oil . Now the 20w50 which to start with is the wrong oil, how long can go before he changes oil? The question remains is it cost effective? .... People like you are the reason why am against buying Nigerian used cars...
Your next reply is am protecting my business, because I sell oil .. But I not only sell oil , I also use what I sell...
Exactly, you are very correct. That's the reason I also avoid Nigeria used vehicle. That's why I was arguing with someone here that I can't buy naija use above 3m even if it's 3months, expecially if it was use on Uber platform... He was busy asking me questions that does not in any way concern me. Asking "if it was me would I sell for 3mil" ...
Naija used na Naija use.

This bolt updated app is nonsense, it's what they want you to collect at the end of the trip it will read. If like follow longer route or encounter traffic along the journey you are on your own, even toll always miss. I am tired of reviewing trips.

Abeg Bosses in the house, help my situation. So I was at a traffic light today on my way to pick up a rider. Car (Corolla) suddenly started jerking and it went off. I thought it was a joke. Started it and it jerked again but this time, the car was just vibrating acting like it was about going off if I didn't accelerate. I quickly went to the mechanic. He said he suspected the plug. I changed the four plugs. Bought injector cleaner (or something). But the issue still persists. I noticed that the RPM is now below 1000 when idling on DRIVE. Please has anyone experienced anything like this?? How did you fix it??

Well the issue of type of oil type will continue to rage and I agree with dru and Gazzuz. However maintenance is key. My father uses big daddy since 2015 and the car is still as sound as ever because he has only covered 13000miles in four years, he uses Mobil 1 or whatever, that type they sell 4k or so and he services every 3months till I forced him to change every 6 months as a compromise.

Personally I use full synthetic and I usually change after 5000miles when the 'maintenance required' light comes up, but now I will extend it to 7,500miles, the 18,700 oil no be small money o.
Lol, he said it's danfo that uses Mobil

Your father is not driving the car that often, so the damage of wrong use oil will not quickly show .. The more miles he puts on the car , the more the engine wears out due to the wrong use of oil..
Another example , I have a cab man that I use whenever am in the country, he is like a family friend now . He drives big daddy Camry 05, his older brother got it for him in the USA .. The guy uses the car for private services, he refuses to do uber because of low fares. I encourage him to use the correct oil and he refuses and instead he uses the Mobil for 4k naira . He takes good care of the car body wise and engine wise. I also encourage him to use coolant instead of water. The Camry he uses now is shorten oil. And he ask me to get him tokunbo engine . I told if he had use the right oil he would not be asking me for tokunbo engine.. But he said he had use the car for two years , and the car has tried as per nigerian condition etc .. I just shake my head ,now he is looking to sell his problem to somebody else ..Keep in mind the car looks very clean in and out . He travels within Lagos and outside Lagos . His attitude towards cars is not different from most of you guys . And he is very picky about cars he buys .. I even refuse to sell him my Camry tokunbo that I had. I didn't want any issues down the line.. He is type of guy if you try to sell him a lemon he will know ..
