Exactly. We know how to abuse things a lot. Things like this should be done codedly. Selling it openly is quite dangerous. The developer will surely end up changing it to one license key per user the way it is going.

If it was just 3 to 4 persons raising $97 to get a license and share, that is fine because, One user might have upto 3 devices (PC, Laptop, Tablet, Phone) but what am seeing on Nairaland is 20 persons coming together to raise $97 then after they get the license, each of them start selling to as many as may desire to buy from them at N5k or N10k which is even more than what they paid in the group from which they bought. Hahaha 9ja. When they block our IP we go vex.

My fear is the man should not end up coming up with the idea of making it 1 user per person. He can do that. He won't mind whether one person has more than one computer or not.

1. Kdp works and its a step by step thing

2. Even if you have no money but have a system and zeal, you can get started

3. This is the first time my friends don't know what I'm doing except you guys here.

4. My first sale was kindness books for kids and its a 30$

5. With God all things are possible. I have been gathering book covers, kdp courses and software.
The two most important things that matters was
God and my determination.

There are days I sold nothing. Sometimes a week.

It was another children book that started making
Sales since published.
It made 2 sales every week. I was excited.
It was my major earner.

Today. I have learnt a lot. I make sales every day even though I have few books 14.

1. The cover of the book

No one will buy a poor cover book. I'm not saying that you won't make sales. You may make one or two sales. A good cover will do two things
A. Attract attention.

People will say let's check this out. That's what you want. I have a children's book that I write very low and below average content. The reason whybits ranking and selling like 4 copies a month is becos of the cover. Very sweet cover that stands out.

This is the first step.
How do you get a nice cover
1. Use Photoshop book cover templates. I have over 30 templates. Just open and download them. Already made covers .

Just edit the
Title
Sub titles
Author name
Picture

That's all. I have given free cover PSD on this thread.

If you need all 30 templates for a token. Let me know.

Option b
Use Corel draw.
Very good too.

2. Check the title.
Very important as the cover.
Use a good title.

Tip
Browse similar books and see their own. Add or subtract something and furnish your own.

ABC cookbook (just an example)
The title was too long.

So I refurnished it to

ABC meal prep.
Super easy...

Then I added subtitle etc.

Just look at other books .


Another way is to cross change. What do I mean?
I saw a children book in one niche.
Childrens car .

I took that title, modified it and wrote a book in another niche with the modified title.

It was very sweet.

3. You book will not sell if you have the lowest page among other books.

What do I mean?
Other books have 88 pages 100 pages etc then your book have 22 pages

If other books is 150 pages, my book will be 100 pages.

I have a book that 75 pages. Other book in the niche is 120 pages but people were complaining that their book was too long.

OP pls I received a mail that my Author name wasn't the same with my book content, therefore my book was reverted to draft. Pls what does this mean? Should I use d name I use I registering for kindle publishing? Cos my name I used in registering defers from the name I put as author's name i.e I used my local name in signing up and used a white name (pen name) on the book. Is that the problem? Thanks man
