Lol, shey marriage na by force.
Elders council don't really consider a daughter's or a son's opinion on issues like this, it is something that must be done once the son or daughter is ripe, if it is the son and he doesn't have money, it is our responsibility as elders of the family to contribute money and get him a wife, and if its the daughter, she doesn't need money, all she need is to be present on the date chosen shocked shocked grin grin

My dear, it is not you alone that will make that decision of when to marry oh, that's why we are elders, we must not stay at home and watch goat eat the yam in the barn, that will be a taboo....we must act as elders we are, so get ready in 7 market days grin grin

grin grin grin

It’s the same.

But Acela Express it’s more like Business Class.

It’s usually the fastest one with the fewest stop.

I’m going to use the DC one but I’m not sure if they do the same day one.
I would only choose one because of proximity to where I live.

My Newark ----- London Flight with United Airlines cost me about $300

My London ----- Lagos Flight with Etihad Airways cost me about $700

With Etihad Airways, I'll be making a one day stop in Rome & Two days stop in Abu Dhabi

So I spent roughly about $1000 for a one way ticket back to Nigeria.

bro make i be ur personal security guard nah.

i have 5 years as a security guard

Are the youth telling you start up capital is their problem?

Forget all that.

I'm not saying there is no hunger but I'm saying there is no creativity.

We love shortcuts that takes back to square one.

It’s true that we love shortcuts but creative people do exist in Nigeria.

Just that there isn’t an encouraging environment for development & advancement.

Creative people are in the minority.

When I mean minority, i mean negligible minority.

if she brings money fine, if she doesn't have, that cannot stop her from getting married because in African culture, it is the responsibility of the man to provide, it doesn't matter where they live, we are Africans before whatever else we are and we cannot trade our culture for a borrowed culture that causes marital issues. We don't want any of our daughters to marry and come back grin

There's no country that doesn't have creative people but there is a trend through which we can reach a conclusion.

Nigerians aren't creative as a people hence the low productivity.

Go to villages and see people using canoes.

When they use modern vessels, they are all imported.

Haba.

Another difference is that in a place like the US, one job position is held by three people. Morning, afternoon and night shift. This adds to the overall productivity an organization since it is operating at maximum capacity.
Infrastructure and power generation is among the frustrating factors for businesses in Nigeria.
I have seen a welder close shop for a week because of no light.
