DMerciful:
You look at development as patching of roads. What Jonathan did for Igbos is treating Igbos as first class citizens and providing business atmosphere that made them more successful. He gave freedom which the average Igbo man value more than anything else because we are Republicans by nature. He also gave Igbos strategic positions including COAS. The second Niger bridge is Jonathan's project with funding planned for. Igbos knew that Bubu is bad business and Igbos are never wrong in business assessment and Bubu as failed woefully as predicted. You know nothing, just like John Snow!
Ogs read my Main post again, i said assessing him on infrastructure.

What a foolish lunatic comment. What as police on the road hoy to do with road n bridge construction ?!,If you need to wail about that why not open a thread for your permanent endemic wail of sorrow on that ?!

SLAP44:
Many of the people opening these threads are not Igbo people but impostors who thinks that by using partly of full Igbo names as monikers, they can deceive themselves and not Igbos.

1. Count how many unnecessary armed men are on checkpoints from Onitsha to Enugu collecting money brazenly, how many new checkpoints have been established since 2015? grin

2. How many people have been killed in avoidable circumstances in the s e since 2015?

Stop your propaganda because it's dead on arrival.

You just dont want to accept it due to your deep hatred for Buhari.

The way you people have constantly accused me falsely here of being non Igbo and having several nairaland accounts here tells me a lot about how you guys have lied against Buhari severally. Jisie nu Ike but the truth cannot be hidden for long.

Umuahia to Okigwe express that was reconstructed with the Sukkuk money is what you people are claiming that Jonathan did. Na wa for una o.

A friend of mine who loved Buhari and argues a lot with me about him called me this afternoon to complain about the lack of progress he saw in the work on the second Niger bridge as he was on his way back.

Today he agreed with me that Jonathan meant well and that Buhari is doing nothing to compare to the work in the east that Jonathan did.

He was disgusted with what he saw.

Umunnam as those of us who live outside are travelling home this season please just try to be observant on the traps set so far in your area and where you need to uproot the propaganda.

Dont judge Buhari based on what your shop neighbour in lagos or PH or Kano or anywhere tells you because they may be spreading APC propaganda. See for yourself.

I also criticize Buhari because he has failed to do well. Stop being a natural praise singer of Buhari. Its not the best.

FIXED.
grin grin grin and you decided to rewrite my post to suit your hatred for Buhari.? You are just funny nwanne.

You are referring to those opening thread and daring you to deny the construction Buhari is carrying out in the East right ?!

NimrodEndOfDays:
Every tribe has a soul. And from that, you can instinctively determine who is an Igbo man or woman from that even if we are in a faceless forum. As someone said, using a moniker which shows an Igbo name does not mean the individual is one. There are intelligent Igbos an there are extremely stupid or foolish Igbos. An Intelligent Igbo is one who is fair just and not sentimental even if it means going against his brothers who have divergent views just so that ALL Igbos and non-Igbos live a democratic life with justice. A stupid Igbo is one who is against his people just to prove that he is politically correct and not bias. These are the foolish Igbos who sell their soul for money like crabs in a bucket. Then we have the Imposters. The online Igbos who opens threads to justify foolishness.

Go and look for the meaning of Greek Gift. You're too gullible to have believed in this administration.
Yes, the heavy construction including that of 2nd Niger Bridge that Buhari is doing in the South-East is Greek Gift. Now, what do we call the commissioning of the 2nd Niger Bridge on the drawing board which Goatluck Jonathan did some years back? Is that Ijaw Gift?

My brother I live in the east and I will say that eastern Nigerian roads are very bad. Yes there are patches of construction here and there but its four years already and all we get is few kilometers of road construction while others are getting rail lines and all.
You are right my brother, others have several kilometers of road and railway.

Yorubas have the follow among others;

1. Lagos-Ibadan expressway construction which was abandoned by PDP for 16 years
2. Oyo-Ogbomoso expressway construction which was abandoned by PDP for 16 years.
3. Apapa-Oshodi-Iyana_Oworo expressway construction which was abandoned by PDP for 16 years.
4. Contract for Ikorodu-Sagamu expressway has been awarded.
5. Lagos-Abeokuta-Ibadan railway construction is about 90% completed. PDP never dreamt of that.
6. There are several South-West roads captured in 2020 budget.

Politics is investment, you invest your votes and reap infrastructure. You cannot work in UBA and go to GTB to ask for salary.

The 2nd Niger which Buhari is constructing is very very wrong and unfair to other regions that voted this administration. It is purely robbing Peter to pay Paul. Igbos should have tied Goatluck Jonathan down to the poles of the old Niger Bridge until he constructs the 2nd Niger Bridge.

WHy didnt Jonathan give us railway?

He didnt give us road, he didnt give us rail and he didnt give us second Niger bridge.

Now somebody is trying to give us road and second Niger bridge yet he is being condemned as if he is doing nothing at all for us.

You are correct to a large extent but i disagree with you that he should work for only the people who voted him,

He won election to become the president of Nigeria not a sectional leader,

He took an oath to abide by the constitution and the constitution carries Nigeria as a whole in progress.

However i agree with you that Jonathan is the one they should be blaming rather than defending him.. Jonathan failed big time.

I have no comment to make but the worst federal road right now is the Onitsha-Owerri road and it is Buhari's federal road.

Anytime I think of passing through that road to our branch office, I just lose morale.

Umunna ndewo nu o.
Pls lets put sentiment aside as we are returning home this season. kindly take a look at the work that Buhari has done so far in Igbo land and report here. Its an infrastructural assessment.

1. For me i observe serious reconstruction of roads from Umuahia to Enugu,

2. Another serious road work ongoing from Enugu to Anambra.

3. Serious work on second Nigeria is going on too.

Jonathan spent almost six years in power without working seriously on these projects but Buhari came and today we can see big progress being made on the various projects.
Pls nobody should abuse the president here pls. Just comment decently. thanks.

i will post more as i travel from one part of Igbo land to the other
Igbo is not the only component of Nigeria. Jonathan spent six year in government. Buhari has spent five years already. Better assessment is when we compare them using the whole Nigeria and all sectors of the economy as yardstick. That is when we actually put sentiments aside.

Number 1 is non of my business because police check point is much in Enugu but not in Anambra . Enugu to Oji river houses over 10 check points but Awka to Nnewi has not more than 2 check points even Awka to Onitsha is same thing. So O don't know where you argument is heading to.

Unless you make it clearer.

Number 2 is what I am much concerned with.

Killed by who?
And so when did Enugu become kano or Ogun?

Ok..what are your sincere thoughts about Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB?

What do you think about buhari's appointments?

How do you feel about the fact that when national security matters are discussed, not a single Igbo man sits on the round table? A tribe of more than 50 million people worldwide are not considered to head COAS, CDS, CAS, CNS not even paramilitary like NSCDC, Immigration, Prisons, Customs?

Tell us how you feel about that. I also present the question to Mr netpro and okoroawusa.

Like someone said here blood is thicker than water, a mother hen will always recognise her own chicks in a multitude of chicks. It is not magic.

I'm waiting.
