We have the capacity to generate 7000MW. But we don't have the capacity to transmit and distribute that amount. If the 7000MW can be available, almost every one will have light
That's not possible. 7000MW daily cannot guarantee light 24/7 for all Nigerians

Not when Lagos alone needs 10000MW daily.

Bayelsa state has the worst experience as NEPA didn't just hold light, the equally stop the Sun from shining here too.

I must really commend them. It’s has been awesome this week.
It has been kind of steady. Even if they take it , they restore it in less than 1-2 hrs.

Quite impressive.

Reporting live from the garden city.

I didn't say all. "I said almost all"

Many part of Lagos has at least 12 hours a day. The highest ikeja electric will take is around 300mw. Eko electric takes lesser in most cases. That is altogether about 700mw. With just 1200mw to Lagos, there will be a significant change.

If many places in the country can have light concurrently in this period, especially yesterday and today, what has been stopping the not to be always? Something is wrong somewhere.

For our estate, transformer has been out of action for nearly 5 months... we don contribute money but till today, no light.

As for me personally, I've been enjoying uninterrupted solar power for years now. It's not a big system, but enough so I can see at night, charge my devices, and pump water.
Can you kindly relay how much your solar system cost?
