Leicester are good.. but not good enough to challenge for the title... They are lucky that Chelsea, Spurs, man utd and arsenal are misbehaving.. securing a UCL spot shouldn't be hard for them.. should it? ![]() |

Blueelf:This worship you people are worshipping Tammy as if he can do no wrong is what is funny. This week, Tammy is getting dragged because someone came and told us that he should be playing for Barcelona and Real Madrid, while Osimhen, should be playing for Zamalek FC and TP Mazembe, if this is the form Tammy wants to carry to Camp Nou, it won't be long before he will be carrying bag for Ansu Fati. Perhaps if his hypeman on these streets, had not used him as the SI Unit of Great Young Strikers, he would have received little to no attention, but since this week was another week of dragging Osimhen to uplift Tammy, we might as well do a Grand Closing ![]() |

Were u guys expecting them to win the league this season? They were lucky the other time and such feat occurs once in a long time. They should focus on finishing 2nd or at worst 3rd which will ensure automatic UCL qualification. The only way they can fight again next season for the title is retaining their players and coach which I doubt because few of their players are on high demand and if possible bringing in more quality players. I just wish Arsenal's interest in ndidi is serious, I really want him to join a team with better profile because he deserves it Danielnino00: |

safarigirl:Sis, abeg forget about Komekn, I just like Tammy as a player and an individual that knew what he wanted from the onset and went for it. Komekn's argument will get no support from me. Osimhen is a huge performer. And very close to being tagged world class and so is Tammy. We should just be grateful to God for both their talents |

Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka was again deployed in the left back role Thursday evening by Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta in his first game in charge of the Gunners in their matchday 19 fixture against Bournemouth. Saka played for 90 minutes at the Vitality Stadium and did put in a shift defensively albeit going forward his final balls were disappointing. Adapting to the left back position according to ESPN was no issue for the Arsenal youngster. "DF Bukayo Saka , 6 -- It may not be his first-choice position, but the 18-year-old looks more than comfortable at left-back," ESPN wrote. "The youngster was always available on the overlap, and was the most reliable Gunner when it came to a final ball, although that wasn't saying much." The Mirror gave Saka a 5 out of 10. "Bukayo Saka 5. "Played at left-back which seemed a waste the majority of his attacking talents. When he did get forward, his crossing let him down." For Daily Star it was a 6/10 for the England youth international of Nigerian descent who may seek to play for the west African country at the senior level. "Bukayo Saka - 6. "Forced to fill in at left-back, looked to push forward but end product let him down." Saka got a 6 from Football.London a widely read publication that covers London clubs in the Premier League. "Bukayo Saka: The 18-year-old was very involved in the game both in and out of possession. Arsenal started most of their attacks down the left and looked to profit from him being so high but so did Bournemouth," the website went. "Eventually the Cherries capitalised on this when Aubameyang misplaced a pass to Saka and went on to score. 6." The Express were blunt with their assessment despite the player playing in an unfamiliar role. "BUKAYO SAKA 5." "Clearly out of his depth playing as a full-back in the Premier League." Saka is expected to play again in the left back position on Sunday in the Super Sunday clash against fellow London side Chelsea |

Club Brugge welcomed Zulte-Waregem to the Jan Breydelstadion in their final game of 2019 on Thursday evening. The home team ran out comfortable winners, thrashing the opponents 4-0 thanks to a double from Nigeria U23 international David Okereke, and Krepin Diatta and Ruud Vormer adding to the goals. Okereke was influential after coming off the bench to replace compatriot Emmanuel Dennis in the 59th minute, scoring a pair of goals in the space of three minutes. Two minutes after his introduction, the Nigerian doubled the advantage, before making it 3-0 in the 64th minute as he beat a Zulte-Waregem defender and fired a left-footed strike past goalkeeper Sammy Bossut. Okereke ended the first half of the season as Club Brugge's joint leading scorer in the league with 9 goals from 17 games, level with Hans Vanaken. The 22-year-old has been involved in 27 matches in all competitions since his big money move from Spezia in the summer of 2019. Club Brugge, who top the Belgian First Division A table with 49 points from 20 games, travel to Anderlecht in their first league game of 2020 on Sunday, January 19. |

Aribos' rating against Kilmarnock Joe Aribo: 8 Impressed once again from the right flank as he was direct with his runs and whipped in timely crosses inside the box. Fed Morelos from the wide to break the deadlock |

Stillwater10:First off, nobody hates them, hate is a strong term. They just would rather not hear of them Secondly, who dey talk of Tomori for here sef? That one is persona none grata, he rarely ever comes up, unless in relation to Tammy And For the most part, Tammy only comes up because of our resident UK football expert and also for making an utter fool of his village people to the international community. How come Alaba does not get any flack on these streets? Or Ogbonna, Akanji or the many others that have turned out for other countries? Abi is Tammy the first or only person of Nigerian origin to play for a foreign land? Tammy and AKA are in the same WhatsApp group, anywhere we hear of them, we will drag them for dragging us. |

charlesemeka85:Na oga Joe talk say Rodgers na genius o . Make I tell u true true, Leicester may not retain this their form before the end of the season . Unless Chelsea,Spurs,United and arsenal decide to be unfortunate for the rest of the season, Leicester will fight to the death for a top 4 finish.. I also want Ndidi to leave.. I think he isn't getting the accolades he deserves because he doesn't play for a big club.. |

Danielnino00:Give it to Rodgers, what he has done for Leicester City is more than a miracle when consider where they were before his arrival. He has his bias selection issues and over thinking his tactics to suit his bias selection. However when it comes to coaching and team preparation he is a genius and has done well so far. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by charlesemeka85(m): 11:27pm On Dec 26, 2019 |
you are right on if they will retain their current position till the end of the season because the likes of united, arsenal and chelsea are likely to recruit few players when the winter window opens by next week. On ndidi he deserves to join one of the big teams in english football and i pray that happens next summer Danielnino00: |

Danielnino00:I agree with what you siad. I think Leicester's downward slip just started. Making top 4 now seems quite harder than before. Other teams now know they are beatable and will wake up with a vengeance. But on Ndidi, I'm not sure January is the best time to leave. Let him give them one more season and then off he goes |

leicester will be crazy to let ndidi leave this january unless any of the interested teams comes up with offer that they can't resist. his best bet is next summer Blueelf: |

TheGoodJoe:I totally agree sir.. he is the greatest genius in the world right now.. His team was playing trash after the first half and he didn't seem it fit to change the tactics at half time.. He has decided to drop a hungry striker like Iheanacho for whatever reason (I believe it's because of the Norwich incident ) on the bench and continue to depend on Vardy.. A genius truly ! |

Blueelf:True .. January isn't feasible for him to leave.. Leicester better not dull his transfer fee.. I won't be exaggerating if I say Ndidi net worth should b more than what Leicester got for Maguire, would I? I don't think Maguire contributed more to that Leicester team more than Ndidi has... |
