Sometimes, He needs to drop Vardy. Left to me, Ayoze Perez should have come in Vardy because despite all Vardy’s running, Klopp got stopping balls to Vardy to perfection. Vardy was offering nothing upfront.

Get Ayoze Perez to play the false 9 role and do a lot of work defensively to reduce Liverpool building from the back.

He got Choudury Ndidi playing in defensive midfield but with Vardy alone upfront, they were playing one man down in the Liverpool set up. Moving Maddison to a more central role would have worked wonders too.

I hope Rodgers learns from this and gets his setup better. He also needs to work on the team pressing as a team with his full backs joining the midfield to give a central defensive stability when they press with intensity.

At the end.. you agreed with me that he should have switched tactics today...

grin cheesy

Yeah, i know.... A dani Alves would still have a large large tag on his head of he was 21yrs old and playing in this era... Esp in the epl.

Agreed

But he was still valuable at europe at age 35

I cant see any defender that will be so valuable that at age like alves so soon

Abduljeleel Ajagun of Kortick shoul be tried in the attacking midfield role.
He plays in the belgian league regularly and beside iwobi, we are short of options in this position.
He should be tried. I dont know why Rohr is ignoring him. We have a lot of wingers and strikers

Is this ur own definition of regular football? A player who can't hold down a shirt or get meaningful minutes in a lowly club like Kortrijk to be invited to the eagles? This is called cameos not regular appearances.

Secondly, an AM who passing is one of his major weaknesses? grin grin

Have u ever seen an AM having "passing" as one of his weaknesses? Lol u want to overwork our attackers and make them look poor by playing an Ajagun behind them? And ur moniker reads philosopher Nawa oo

you are right on if they will retain their current position till the end of the season because the likes of united, arsenal and chelsea are likely to recruit few players when the winter window opens by next week.

On ndidi he deserves to join one of the big teams in english football and i pray that happens next summer

Rodgers has really improved Ndidi's play
