I saw your Mane reference earlier. Mane scored 31 in 63 at age 21/22, that 1 in 2 give or take. I don't know about Adammadu's career till this point but he's 23.

I'm not saying he's not a good footballer but looking at the team, pace isn't in short supply. Dan James has been too fast for our players so far, supplying crosses into the 6 yard box our strikers can't meet.
when teams park the bus, the pace becomes a little useless and that grace or refinement on the ball becomes necessary.
for me I'm thinking a guy like Bernardo Silva will do us much good.

I've dropped two links, one which Klopp used his mouth to confirm he was offered a new contract for MANY months and he rejected it in order to move to a new club, and a second where Can confirmed he refused to sign a new contract coz he wanted to move to a club where he'd win titles. Both were from the horse's mouth not hearsays, not rumors.

You've even brought up another confusion into this mix. You just keep grasping at straws that keeps failing you. How is Can and Herrera's situation the same?

Herrera was offered a new contract but NOT UP TO THE WAGES he was demanding for, that's what the rumors were saying, so he refused to sign and moved to where he'd be paid the wages he desired.

While in Can's case, wages was never the issue. He was NOT INTERESTED IN SIGNING any contract because he wanted to leave to a club he'd win trophies because he didn't envisage Liverpool would be this successful. Klopp confirmed it with his words, Emre Can the same thing. So, how are both cases the same?

The advantage is always with the attacker because he only needs to beat the defender 1 or 2 times to inflict damage, whereas the defender has to be perfect all game.

Having said that 1v1 AWB is a defensive beast. I won’t bet against him in a duel with any forward in the EPL.

To some extent, I believe AWB can stop him. He's good at dispossessing his Opponent with slide Tackling, thus I believe he's gonna be difficult for Adama to dribble/pass him anyhow.

Valencia wasn't much of a dribbler but he was a menace to any LB.
Dan James isn't experienced at this level that's why I'm not saying much on his display but I like his work ethic, and that's a big plus for his development.
let's move past it, perhaps the future will reveal more to us.



what was your take on our last game and why do you think we managed to score four times after going one down?
for me it was a far better movement in the final third.
Martial especially was willing to commit to the press and the midfield/defense pushed forward to create bodies for the pass. I thought that was kind of a new demand on the whole team and also the major reason we were vulnerable to counters early in the game before they managed to balance it out.
