Does 2:1 in microbiology stand a chance for DE in UI??
It depends. UI is a very dynamic institution so I can't outrightly give you a polar answer. I have heard of someone with a first class in Agriculture who got Medicine via DE while someone with 2:1 Physiology wasn't admitted, baba took UTME applied to UI and is now in 200L.

My advice, don't put all your eggs in a basket. Be open-minded, apply for DE and the UTME. One or both should work out hopefully.

My best wishes are yours.

Do you think it is possible to register for both DE and UTME since it is now mandatory to use NIN for registration?

Yes, you are good to go with Lamlad Chemistry.
what about physics

what about physics
Lamlad Physics has its lopsidedness in the dearth of detailed explanations. If your Physics isn't sound, I don't advice you use this book. It would largely be a waste of time, which at this time is very precious.

MBBS is best but BDS is also an awesome degree to be done as it is related to human health issues
as it is related to teeth and in teeth calculus bridge, gum bleeding are some most common issues in the teeth.
