Are you charging with solar panel directly?

Read the item description well before you increase solar panel

Charging input: 16V-24V/1.6A( the power cable connector dimension:5.5*2.1-2.5mm)

DC output: 12V/15V/16V/19V/21V = 3.3A ( MAX ) ( with current limiting and temperature protection)
USB port output: 5V/=2.1A(max)
Total output power : 75w(max) , DC port:65w(max)

all voltage error :-/+1.5v

can install 6 18650 battey or 3pcs(must install alternation)

support most laptop below 19v/4a, Usb port:25w(max) support most Tablet PC.phone.

and before you also increase the batteries, keep in mind that the BMS may not support it.

your array is 2kw right?. 8kwh isnt big leagues then, let it hit 10kwh wch is 500% and above, then we will believe grin

With my self inflicted shading I only got 6kwh, am sure it could have been better if I addressed the shading issue. Whatever league it falls I think 6kwh with shading on a all series connection array should be close to a high league cool grin

Hehehe, in the last 6 months, I have actually been off-grid by force not by choice wink

Yes, 80 watts for the first one I ever bought. And that's what I've used for almost two years. Being 100% off grid, no time for PHCN.

The one in the picture is the 3rd one I purchased purposely to mod into the fan about the same time I bought the latter off of Konga. But it is currently on 50 watts panel and doing fine.

I understand your concern. The instructions on the site states that you can charge with a laptop charger (which mostly gives 19vdc out). Some chargers are rated for as much as 4 amps. 3.3amps spec on this power bank X 19VDC is 66 watts input.

I've actually hooked up extra 3s2p pack to one before (totalling 3s4p) and on a 50 watts panel it did fine. Before 2pm battery is fully charged. Backup was much longer.

There's actually another type of power bank/ups (bought on Kong's) with much smaller and less powerful BMS that had done fine on extra 3s2p and 50 watts panel, so I was sure this having more powerful circuitry will handle it.

grin grin grin...big leagues is any setup that consistently hits 500% panel array and above.
Btw your display is a lil confusing, whats the 3.76kwh stand for?

My 3kWp array doesn't often exceed an average of 8-9kWh/day unless I go beyond my typical DoD of less than 80%. I do twice that on days I deliberately attempt to max out. And I don't even consider that any league. Just regular stuff. Check out GeorgeD1, NiyiOmoIyunade et al for massive arrays and big league harvest.

You may only be to enjoy wind turbine if you stay in certain locations which may include but not limited to shorelines, city outskirts, farms with very few overhead vegetations. These are my experience with places with fairly good wind speed, although I have not used wind energy myself.

If you live in cities and especially in those with serious overcast heavy air as seen in industrialised cities like PH, you may not get adequate wind speed to enjoy a turbine except if installed several meters into the air.

I stand to be corrected from wind energy users sha.
Most parts of the country do well with wind turbines. I've experimented successfully in the Middle-Belt. The typical issue is mounting it a few metres above the rooftop. You need rigs with heights in excess of 100m in most locations. In essence, it is viable as a commercial venture but would be gainful for only the most hardcore hobbyist.

100m is about 33 storeys height.

I believe it's 10m u wanted to write which is within the standard for most stanchion or UB

oh, sweet, the mpp solar tracks energy usage again?..thats a big plus. saves one the small coins and labour in installing a standalone energy tracker as well. reminds me, that am yet to install the AC & DC UNITS I BOUGHT.

Anybody using this unit?...dc watt meter
Could you explain how you connected your cc and inverter to it

Yes it does and you can do other external logging for more robust tracking as well. Meanwhile do you mean the big leagues doesn't? ;-)

No thanks yet,
You asked the wrong question and got a corresponding answer. The wire should be copper but...

Why are you trying to connect your solar panel to your battery? that usually isn't a general practice except in rare cases.

I have decided to change my panels from parallel connection to 2S2P and see how it goes. But I shall still retain the PWM controller. I observed shading is much on it these days. As of 4pm yesterday, almost 80% is shaded. I am thinking of raising the height from 3feet to about 10feet to eliminate the shade which is caused by fence. Pole is the new height i am considering. Relocation is out of the question.
Any other/better suggestions? Thanks
