This is what happens when we turn our NASS to retirement home for people that had opportunity to impact positively on the lives of their people and yet fail badly at it! All of a sudden you now know that poverty is everywhere, I guess you didn't see that when you were governor! When you were busy spending limited state resources on expensive xmas tree and inflated contracts, you didn't know you needed to tackle poverty.

When you factionalized the party you rode to prominence all in the hopes of installing your son-in-law as your successor, you didn't know your party could lose the election. The National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved another three new universities for Imo State government barely three weeks after it approved University of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences for the state. The newly approved institutions which bring to six the number of state universities in Imo State are University of Creative Technology, Omuma, University of Medical Sciences, Ogboko and University of Science and Technology, Onuimo. Speaking at a meeting to convey the approval to Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State on Tuesday in Abuja, Executive Secretary of the NUC, Prof. Abubakar Rasheed, said the institutions have met all the requirements necessary for their recognition.
