Bola Ahmed Tinubu has done an amazing job of creating investment friendly environment and working on key infrastructure to build Lagos into the envy of alll

Through the industrious nature of Yorubas and their dominance in Banking, It, media , Education, import and export , and home of foreign investment

Ogun state is now the economic hub of Nigeria
It houses the most universities, churches and manufacturing hub

Good job Yorubas
You focus on your self and don’t hold everyone else

Today Lagos Ogun and Oyo lead in Education, IT penetration and GDP growth

To those that will call him “afonga muslim”
Your only bitter and jealous of him
Unlike Abuja, a Yari.ba peep was never a Minister of Lagos. Yet the loudmouths can say anything to feel relevant.

You are regrettably an intellectual midget. It is safe to say you are educationally not qualified to discourse issues about Lagos. It could be about your age since Internet does not discriminate.

Then you must have read beer parlour history. For the facts that Calabar port was built and used to exports labourers( slaves) and resources, your brain ought to decode that lots of activities went down dere.

Help yourself with that link, and get the truth.
If any stuff you read online tells you Lagos is the first capital then have it in mind that it's written by a Nigerian or the Nigeria government, and the reason is that Lagos was the Capital when Nigeria gained her independence in 1960 so it was the first time the people of Nigeria moved the capital to Abuja in 1991 and they might want to lay claim that Lagos was the first which is bulshit. Let me educate you on why the capital was moved down to Abuja from Lagos, there are numerous reasons which you can find online why Muritala Muhammad proposed it, IBB excuted it such as the Geographical location of Lagos in the deep heart of Yorubaland, and because it is majorly surrounded by water and it vulnerable to external force, Abuja being more at the centre but the main reasons why Yoruba leaders of thoughs agreed that capital should be moved away from our land was because Nigeria is a multi ethnic country, they do not want our culture to be polarised and diluted also the first coup, Lagos state was captured by you igbo, second coup it was recaptured by Hausa fulanis during the biafra war, you Igbos want to come down to Lagos and bomb it despite the fact that it was Hausa fulanis that was killing you in the North. So the leaders of Yoruba school of thought feel it wise to support the move to move the capital to Abuja. Even some few years back some in the North I can really remember who suggested it, I think Sanusi or el rufai suggested Lagos should be made second Capital but we Yorubas kicked against it.
This one must be 7 years old or something grin what type of joke is this

Typical Igbo man. This is the reason you are now 20th class In Nigeria despite being one of the biggest ethnic groups in the nation. You have never met the guy yet you are claiming you have more than he does and that your father is richer than his.

No wonder Igbo women are now overlooking Igbo men. They too, like all Nigerians, have sussed you as arrogant empty braggarts only good at making noise and forming billionaire while selling Fan yogo on Third Mainland bridge. Shior.

Igbo running down to Yoruba to do business is not to favour anyone rather for them to make profits. Yoruba land has provided an enabling environment for business to strive that why you all are setting up businesses here, your tax has little or no effect on Yoruba land rather your presence here is affecting Y infrastructure due to pressure of high migration. The businesses you set up employs little or no Yoruba citizens because they are usually small scale businesses which are usually buying and selling of all kinds of products such as spare parts, second hand clothing (Okrika) etc. So the migration of Igbos into Yorubaland favours only Igbos and the most annoying part of Igbos migration into Yorubaland is that they commits and are involve in all manner of crimes and criminal activities.
Finally to put a stop in your propaganda, there is nothing serious the Federal government did in Lagos Yorubaland rather most of the Development and infrastructure that the Yoruba government put in place from the taxes generated in all Yoruba land and old western region was taken over by the then Military government and now are controlled by the Federal government example the port was build by the colonial to steal then Awolowo refurbished it with the tax from western region, it was taken over by the Muritala government, the Lagos airport was first built during the WW2 and was reconstructed 1979, with taxes from majorly from western region and the name was credited to Muritala cos he was the head of state, the Nigerian Television Authority( NTA) came about and was built by pa Awolowo, Anthony Enaworo etc in 1959 under the name Western Nigerian Government Broadcasting Corporation (WNTV)) but was taken over by the Federal government in 1977. You and I know very well that almost all what the federal government of Nigeria is in charge of not only in Yorubaland but Nigeria as a whole is a total mess, the Airports are shithole, the federal roads are death trap, federal schools are total failures, going to a federal government hospitals is a suicide mission. So you much be out of your mind to start bragging about what Federal government has put in place in another man's land. Yoruba built and are still building Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Ondo and Etiki, we are also still trying our best to extend our hand to Kwara and Kogi where we have Yorubas.
Are u ok? Can u imagine the audacity of these lies , Haba, replicate same in ogun and uyo state , the state of lagos today have nothing to do with yorubas just like the northerners played nil role in the development of Abuja

go to Ogun and Oyo state and see what's going on there in terms of development and also see your Igbo people who had mass migrated to both places. You all like to brag that because Lagos was once capital and it developed by Nigeria which is a bloody lie, Yoruba made Lagos their land what it is today. Why is Abuja not yet the commercial hub of Africa or the very least west Africa, is Abuja not developed by Nigerians yeye.

Who was incharge of the Eastern region?
Let me just give you a snippet from Awolowo's diary:

Here is an excerpt from Awo's diary:

----------------------------------------
"I will let my Diary for 3 August speak briefly here.
(1) Crossed the prison gate into freedom at 7.56 a.m.
(2) Plane took off from Calabar at 8.30 a.m.
(3) Arrived Ikeja airport at 9.32 a.m.
(4) Saw Gowon at his Headquarters.
(5) Returned to Ikenne alone in triumph. At this juncture, it is of interest to narrate the nature of Ironsi’s proposed release as it was disclosed to me after my actual release. The plan was to take me to Ikoyi prison until it was judged safe to set me free. A cell had been prepared for me there which contained extra facilities . If I did not like the place, I could be placed under house arrest at Ikenne. If I wanted to travel abroad, every facility would be afforded me to do so. That was why my intended release was not announced, even though a plane had been dispatched to Calabar to bring me to Lagos. Until negotiation with me on the above lines had been concluded, Ironsi’s team did not want the public to know that I had been transferred back to Ikoyi prison or to my house under house arrest, with my own consent."

------------------------------

Please just note that that is no need to keep arguing with those who choose to rewrite history. Many have tried but will keep failing.
Heck, they will even disown this entry of their man's recollection.

Third mainland bridge was built with Niger Delta oil money! All Lagos roads are either federal or state built with Nigerian allocation from Niger Delta again. Calabar was never capital of Nigeria! Ibadan was built with regional governments resources and it ended there. Yorubas see Lagos as their world, 90% of Yorubas I have asked are not from Lagos. Read history and stop listening to village stories!
. And do you know that Western region contribute the money to exploit Niger delta oil? And it's federal government duty to construct inter state roads and national roads so it's like that in every other state third mainland bridge connect Lagos to then ikorodu which is not part of Lagos then
It's non of your business of states yorubas in Lagos come from because we see ourselves as one we come from the same origin (Ile ife) and ilupeju indegin in Lagos origin is from Kwara state before settling there same as moba people are original migrate from ekiti same as akesan and so on
Yoruba live like one Religion don't separate us and you thought ordinary politics (states) would separate us even Kwara that is not considered as south west is just on paper many kwarans are taking important roles in Lagos and other Yoruba lands because
Lagos remains Yoruba land and Yoruba lands is for all yorubas we don't differentiate like you all who always claim one is more igbo than the other that's why our lands are progressing

Doesn't work that way even if you like see yourself as same mother and father doesnt mean you're same mother and father. Someone from Imo State or Kebbi State has same right in Lagos as someone from Ibadan as far as Nigeria is concerned!
