Third mainland bridge was built with Niger Delta oil money! All Lagos roads are either federal or state built with Nigerian allocation from Niger Delta again. Calabar was never capital of Nigeria! Ibadan was built with regional governments resources and it ended there. Yorubas see Lagos as their world, 90% of Yorubas I have asked are not from Lagos. Read history and stop listening to village stories!
let me do you a little favour by educating your ignorance self, first of all Calabar is the first Capital of Nigeria, though there were time in history where British had their administrative from Lokoja but the city of Calabar is seen as the first Niger coast protectorate until the late nineteenth century making Calabar the first official capital of Nigeria.
Secondly you sounded as a retard mentioning Niger Delta oil money as if Ondo state is not producing oil in commercial quantity, the oil money only Yoruba people are producing is far more than any ethic group in Nigeria. The South south has more than 6 ethnic groups that produces 80% of oil revenue only Ondo state producing more than 16% of the oil revenue, so if you divide 80% amongst the ethnic groups within SS region only Yoruba is contributing more in terms of oil money, so Yoruba had more in the construction of the 3rd mainland bridge with the revenue generated from Yorubaland. If not the stupid fraudulent system of government we Practice here in Nigeria where Federal government will take all the money generated from Yorubaland down to Abuja and start sharing it back to the states which they got it from in form of allocation. What only Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Osun states generates alone is enough to transform the whole Yoruba nation better that England, but what do we have, Federal government collect the money generated from Yoruba ports in Lagos, taxes collected from big companies in Ogun states, money generated from the gold mining in Osun state and money generated from the oil in Ondo take it all to Abuja then give us back peanut in form of allocation. It only this shithole Nigeria that Practice this system of money allocation.
For you to know, taxing runs a nation and natural resources is a bonus. As Nigeria stands Yorubas is contributing more than what's we are getting back. Yoruba land is the economic backbone of Nigeria and not the oil money from the south south.
Lastly Lagos, Ogun, Osun, Ondo,Oyo,Ekiti, part of Kwara and part of Koji is Yoruba homeland and our world and we intend to make it better and hand it over to our children's generations and the ones yet unborn.

Yes, it wouldn’t proof shit to an Igbo man. What I did was sensitizing the sensible people that might have been caught in the wave of propaganda especially directed to dent the image of the late sage Obafemi Awolowo.

It would have been a surprise if you actually said you believed it.
Why post it if you knew no one would believe

Those who liked it would have supported Awolowo even if you didn't make the video

Those who disliked it would have hated Awolowo even if you didn't make the video

You didn't change the opinion of anybody not even yours...why post it?

Go and read history and see how Akintola displaced Awolowo. Even Zik won more votes than Awolowo in the West. It was coalition Awolowo used overnight with Tribalism, he wasnt that popular!

Lol which Zik. The party Zik was fronting was actually formed by a Yoruba called Herbert Macaulay.

When Macaulay died, he left the structure of the party in the hand of Zik and there are Yorubas in Zik party so it’s not a matter of Zik wining singlehandedly.

However Zik mistake was that he tried becoming the western region premier: such audacity!

The reason NCNC won was because they have a policy with a relaxed tax system. Awolowo party manifesto was about tax due to the fact that the party is planning free education, free healthcare, and a lot of social projects.

The Agbekoyas (farmers) who constitute the class financing the government detest paying high tax and they tried voting NCNC coz they think they won’t need to pay too much tax with NCNC manifesto.

However, the Yorubas are politically conscious about having a Zik as a premier and they collectively let tribe reasoning supersede political differences.

Their argument is this: why should an Igbo man superintend on the Yorubas with such number of intellectuals in the west? Will Azikwe be the one commanding our Obas? Will Zik be the one controlling the Odua investment funds? Will Zik be the one controlling the Yoruba man destiny? Hell no!

I changed your opinion. It’s actually a tool of psychology and even if you deny it verbally I’m quite sure that deep inside your mind you doubted your earlier stance on the issue of Gowon/Ojukwu releasing Awolowo.

That you even remembered the thread give credence to that assertions.

However you should know that most of you on here will think twice before lying again that Ojukwu released Awolowo. Now you have to do a lot of verbal twisting to even convince any sane person to give you an audience on that subject.

If Azikwe had been the premier then, say bye bye to free education, free primary health, skyscraper, first TV, first Stadium, Odua investment, minimum wage Increase, etc.

He won’t fail to do that only because he is Igbo but he will fail because he can’t offer the brain he dosen’t have.

It takes a brainy man like Awolowo to pioneer all those firsts among first. Infact I read a report on what obstacle Awolowo faced when he was trying to implement the free education policy.

The way he handled the situation even against the world powers advice that time and the backlash he got from the Agbekoyas made me salute him more.
