I want a small wedding , preferably traditional. I don’t like white wedding and the whole attention and brouhaha that comes with it so that’s out of the equation. How to convince my mom and dad is the bigger problem , they love party die.

Then, you're good to go. Even to rent wedding gown alone is at least 20k for something that looks partially decent/acceptable.

Court wedding if you are both cool with it with few family and friends as witness OR you can opt for blessing of marriage if you are catholic, then go home and entertain your few invited guests.

What kind of person is the OP? Not everyone is interested in being a charity case.

The best bet for him is a small wedding, like incredibly small, even thee traditional wedding should be small and intimate among family, no one else. The White wedding can even be regulated, but traditional weddings that everyone wants to come and eat free food, will be difficult to regulate.

I wish him the best sha, there is nothing you cannot do if you put your money to it and surround yourself with sensible people.

You tried but you didn't factor Trad., venue, vehicle etc

My friend 200k cannot take care of anything.....you better pay the bride prize and go for marriage blessing afterward.

I doubt if 200k can even attend to the bridal list let alone marriage/wedding ceremony....Op infact you should be seriously considering co_habitation and save yourself the trouble
