2019 ...we moved a total of 15million litres of aviation fuel 5 million litres of pms for MRS , Onando, ceta , Nigeria airforce using a fleet of 16 trucks ...recorded 3 accidents in april, august and December with insurance paying 80 percent of the loss (7m ,1.5m,5.2m) we also paid tax of about 1.5m and have a wht of ( 5m )....we currently have a court case court against a bus company that hit our tanker....even with the poor Nigeria economy we grossed 150m in 2019
Is this an increase or decrease from previous years considering the poor economy?

Exactly, sounds good to be true. In Ibadan of all places for such rent.
Then a 10m with a rent of 1M looks like a very far stretch.

How? 250k for a block of three bed in ashi. We'll see how it goes though because the person who connected me wants a 2 million cut all of a sudden.
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by ojesymsym: 12:16pm On Jan 01, 2020
I'd check them up. Thanks.
Or do you have more information or experience with them.
emmanuelewumi:

We have 3 in Nigeria

UPDC REIT

Skye Shelter Fund

Union Homes REIT.

UPDC REIT is the biggest with real estate portfolio that worth N30 billion and liquid funds invested in Treasury Bills, Commercial papers and bonds that is worth N5 billion.

Skye Shelter Fund is the smallest, the real estate portfolio and liquid assets are worth N2.5 billion.

I don't have the figures for Union Homes REIT.

Emmaesty:
Yes... Union homes REIT.

Nothing is conflicting here. It is obvious "material things" in this context are liabilities like cars, expensive cloth and jewelries etc usually associated with "wife of a rich man". She prefers investment (which also include building of houses) to those things.

Is their anything bad in being "materialistic", I know I am, if I wasn't I wouldn't be here everyday looking at avenues to invest and expand my wealth.

No one mentioned it is good or bad to be materialistic. I quoted you because you opined that she was contradicting herself by saying she doesn't like material things and at the same time claimed her husband built houses.

That is the Merriam Webster's dictionary definition of the word materialistic. Clothes, cars, houses, trucks,Tbills they all count as material possessions, but then I might be very wrong. tongue

I also observed that trading is more profitable ....selling cement or fmgc in Nigeria can rake in 80 percent anum...example a truck load of cement is delivered at 2200 per bag sold for 2400 .gross profit of 200 x900 bags (180 k) the capital is 2200x900=2m .....a good location can move 900 bags weekly....

Is it necessary to also invest in a delivery van/truck (for delivery to your customers) if you intend to go into cement distributorship.

Good day my big big oga's.
I had just 2.3m in my account when I stumbled on this thread about 2 years ago and as at this moment i have physical 5.1m in treasury bills minus about half a million i gave to charity this year alone.
Now I have 250k in my savings account doing nothing and I want to diversify.
Please I need your advice as usual.Thanks.

Madam in all your investments, avoid Nigerian stocks for now.

Treasury bills remain the safest and lowest risk investment you can do pending when you get something better. It also helps to complement your monthly earnings. Capital preservation is the bedrock of long term wealth. Never forget that.

You might be wrong, sir. Do a further Google search, and you will discover that one can only be described as materialistic if the ''bolded'' become the focal point of one's life! The reason the definition you quoted started with ''overly concerned.''

The Nigerian Stock Index is plummeting, buy now and you will lose your money, although some company stocks made some profit

Yes. It'll shock you to know ahmadiya is like no 1 in Lagos with constant power supply.

I can tell you boastfully that I live around abiok where power is like 15-18hrs daily. My gen hasn't been put on like a very long time except now that there's no light. Pretty sure it'll be back soon.

People in ahmadiya gets a whole lot like they're cursed with light

The Nigerian stock market is full of uncertainties at the moment. It has been that way for a long time now.

People who invested in mutual funds for stocks and equities are at a loss at the moment.

During the 2019 annual award for Dangcem cement distributors. Major distributors went home with cash prizes ranging from N10 million to N200 million, a total of over N2 billion was shared as incentives to the distributors
