Around d 30 minutes mark, i was so uninterested that i was surfing nairaland I swear...

Martial and rashford=zero...

The James boy can only run dazall, he can't dribble or turn or anything, just run, and then they rough handle him anyhow = 1

I've never liked Fred, he shouldnt be playing for us. Him and perreira should look for a team of their level...

Harry Maguire (people wondering how he became skipo) very very stiff... Maybe the 80 Milla was a scam

Degea nko? I don't even know... We have a bunch of crappy players, I never even mention lingard

Something is really wrong somewhere, I left the place around the 74th minute, I was just bored, super bored...

And I envy united fans who manages to watch our every game...

The one wey dey vex me pass na lingard and that toy car wey dey sign from Swansea. That guy na confirm 2nd division player. Too much speed with no footballing brain
Lindelof just had to use any part of his body, except his brain, to provide assists for both Arsenal goals. Lol.

Arsenal were the hungrier side... Man u needs a midfield overhaul sincerely. Only McTomi fits, asides Pogba.

How about FIFA making the change of allegiance rule similar to the IAAF's where players can represent any country of their choice even if they have already represented another country in an official event ?
cheesy
That will be bad. Countries will start using mercenaries, all our good players will be taken from us

We Africans need to develop our football and STOP relying on foreign born players. I see it as reaping where we did not sow. The idea that we need them is irritating as it smacks of poverty, colonialism, mental slavery and a very slavish attitude. We Africans need to focus on developing our young players. The problem is we do not know how to refine our young u-17 players into competent players. That can be handled if they sign for developmental clubs. Begging every tom, dick and harry to play for us is humiliating and condescending.
Black man, when will you rely on yourself?
Let us develop our Akinkunmi Amoo and Samson Tijani and be proud of them. Foreing born should be an after thought and not the main thing. There are people on this nairaland who think that Foreing born players are the best thing in the world and it is irritating. Africa has to go beyond this

Happy New Year Kwame Nkrumah. Those Amoo and Tijani you mentioned they'll still need to join European clubs to complete their football education, abi is it MFM and Enyimba that will do that?

Those dudes aren’t foreign born though and no one’s asserting that they shouldn’t play for European clubs. Read OP’s comment again.

The major part of those players development will still be in Europe if they will be any good.

Ndidi, Osimhen and Chukwueze are all developed in Europe.

so just because we go abroad go school we should be shut out completely from coming back home to contribute to the economy.
Some of those players were actually born in Nigeria. Many others are children of immigrants who left because of the sorry state of the country. And there are also those who are biracial. Who are you to say they should not be given a chance like every other Nigerian? Anybody hold gun for your head say make u no develop your country?

We may as well abandon them as soon as they go to Europe to continue their development. Let's just stick to NPFL players, if that's what being free from colonialism means. How about all the goods we are importing and using. We should shut out everything foreign and only use goods developed in Nigeria.

Even developed countries get players that were born elsewhere. USA have players developed in Germany and England. Thiago Motta played for Italy but he was born in Brazil. Mario Fernandes is a Brazilian playing for Russia. Diego Costa is a Brazilian player playing for Spain

These so called foreign born are simply children of people like us who live outside Nigeria.
They are Nigerians.

That we have to beg?

Aina
Ekong
Semi Ajayi
Aribo
Maja
Dessers
Ebuehi
Balogun
Sarenren etc

All these players have dedicated their future to the super eagles. They are all foreign born players. You get some, you lose some. You will not get all. You do not have to beg anyone.

Happy bday bro...

Me don tire to reply this kind mentions tbh.

I have said it wiithout numbers harnessing the players in the domestic scene shouldn't make you to accommodate those who born abroad willing to play for us....

Both should be harnessed to the advantage of the national team.....
Only a parochial mind will shut one out for the other.....

To think that some GKs have more goals/ assists than an attacking player speaks of his mediocrity.

I'm not a Man-U fan but its annoying that this guy earns more than Milner at Liverpool. What a travesty!!!!!!!
