We need to be very careful with how some buyers are very eager to procure cheap substandard renewable energy materials.. First it was the scam about "cells made in germany", later came all sorts of german and japan gel technology in batteries.. now is dekka, victron, phocos.. we may soon start buying andre and kuemmerling solar panels and batteries  ! We've those who can't really identify fake items to be factual like snapshot sample below.. A word is enough for the wise !!

It's very sad for the last 2 months you never spoke about using my old batteries has alternatives when I asked you severally, now I asked for my old batteries back your suddenly immobile and tell me to come to abule egba all the way from ajah even when I told you I'm immobile. The company who claims to give warranty has no Update till now? It's a very sad experience because most likely going to spend this new year day 2020 in darkness due to all this mess. NICKEL IRON BATTERIES! Good day forumites , Who knows about Nickel iron batteries or why not really in use down here esp for solar application. I hear a lot about lithiums but some don't know nickel iom is one of the best batteries ever. Beats Lithium Ion by 200% designed by Thomas Edison ! It's basically one of the cheapest batteries per kwh cost. Minimum lifespan is 30+. The first one built by him is still working AFTER 100 years "see snapshot below" It's mostly used in the oil and gas industry here in Nigeria. They are flooded but the electrolyte are replaced every 10 years but only 1% capacity is lost after that 10yrs. . Simple charge profile just like lead-acid unlike the BMS profile for lithium iron . It also works in very harsh temperature from as low as -30° to as high as 90°C .
