Nigeria does not have a constitution. The so-called Nigeria constitution is 1999 Constitution created by Islamic soldiers of Nigerian army. Nigeria needs to jettison the piece of crap for good.

Nigeria was a British protectorate and not an Arewa suzerainty.
In fact, the Arewa forces were destroyed by the British in order to take over.

You cannot have more rights than other conquered groups in the country.
That 1999 constitution must be torn and rewritten to remove any mention of Sharia.

If you so much love Sharia, fight for full restructuring so your state can implement 100% sharia

Shariah and whatsoever you're complaining about existed way before any 1999 constitution.It wouldn't have been possible writing the constitution without addressing such issues.Moreover,their mentioning in that constitution actually limits it's powers and yet you're complaining.

It should never have been mentioned and would have been illegal outside of voluntary participation.
It only makes sense to mention Sharia in a state's law and not in the constitution of the Federal republic.

It doesn't matter why it was mentioned.
A federal constitution is for a country not some groups with a vested interest
of dominating others.
All mention of Sharia must be expunged from the Nigerian constitution.
