Please the issue of oil filter needs to be addressed immediately, that is what is holding me back.

Recommended viscosity for your car is 5w-30. Mobil 1 would do just fine for a toyota even though Castrol Oil Manufacturers claim Castrol oil doesn't burn. We are working hard on the oil filter issue but covering all cars would not be an easy job. You should be able to find a high quality filter in the Market that would easily go 8k miles. if you look hard enough, you could find toyota OEM filters.

I will advise that you use Castrol edge extended performance for your car.
