Don't know much about this condition but it sure looks painful,the outer layer of a skin peeling off is very dangerous,she needs to see a specialist that knows about skin issues.

I would advice she sees a skin specialist, this looks like a skin disease or an infection. or it may even be from lack of some minerals or vitamins in her diet. to cut the long story short, let her see a skin doctor asap.

I have experienced same, especially during harmatan. I have also tried different kind of topical creams. Last last I discovered it's cold sore. Just endure and use diclofenac cream

Google "dermatologists in Lagos /Abuja/PH" or wherever she stays. Check the answers for the ones with clinics and contact details. Ask them for the consultation fee. Pay said fee. See Dermatologist. Problem solved.
