Doctors In The House Please What's Solutions To This?

Have a friend who have been battling with rough palm for long now.

According to her, it happens like 8 years ago. She used to have a normal palm, until a particular day she helped someone to applied Relaxer without gloves. Ever since then, her palm started peeling and cracking causing her severe pains and pricks.
She taught it was just something that will go away in few days, but till date making 8 years she's been experiencing crack, hard and and peeling palm.
It get worse every harmattan seasons, there are days she can't eat she had to be fed by someone due to the pains.

she has applied all sort of treatment but they're not effective.

She said she has been to a clinic once but they couldn't specify what's wrong with her, they only gave her some drugs which ended up not being effective.

Please anyone with similar experience should please share whatever treatment they applied.

Doctors in the house, please your help is needed.

Please help me push it to front-page for wider audience.

I’m not a doctor but I think it’s bacteria look at the soap you use for washing and for bathing especially those toning type antiseptic types or something your using as cream they are too harsh because our palms are naturally supposed to get wet as the temperature increases and stay dry in harmattan but then if your doing a lot of work with gloves it will stay moist

Google "Hand Dermatitis".
You'll find the causes and how to manage it.

I have experienced same, especially during harmatan. I have also tried different kind of topical creams. Last last I discovered it's cold sore. Just endure and use diclofenac cream

5 pages and most of the people contributing to this topics sound like creatures worse than stupid idiots it's a shame if some of these people are in leadership positions tomorrow. My contribution is that she should try using petroleum jelly on the palms and stop using harsh soaps and detergents. It seems she is only reacting to something. She can switch her bathing soap to mild toilet soaps and stop using body cream.

First thing first,
Let her go medical check up and hear what the real doctors have to say. From there once her problem is determined from there she knows the next step to make.

So sorry to see this sis. Please you have to be very careful with creams now, it means you have very delicate skin. Mix natural oils to always use to moisten ur hands. Shea butter, coconut oil, tea tree oil and include vitamin E animate in the mixture. All these can help gradually repair your skin. Sorry.
Like someone here said, stop washing for now, let us see how it goes.

Mia Khalifa is hot but I have to stick to my promise of not watching porn again. wink I am retired.
Re: Her Palms Are Peeling. She Needs Help (Photos) by Offpoint: 4:52pm On Jan 07, 2020
Prognose:

Exfoliative keratolysis following chemical trauma to the upper epidermis of the palms.

The areas that keep peeling off are areas that have scarified tissue whose cells cannot keep up with the normal skin cell proliferation.

Any other trauma will cause the skin to peel e.g dry weather, harsh detergents, creams, soaps, fragrant cosmetics, etc.

Treatment is so simple I can bet $100 you won't try it.

Treatment is to buy blue seal Vaseline. Rub it morning and evening to keep the palm moisturised and protected from the elements. I didn't say you should buy moisturizers as most of them contain fragrances and are waterbased and thus will dry off. Use Blue-seal Vaseline, the unperfumed one ONLY. Morning and Evening for 3months.

But you won't do this cos you're looking for some complicated treatment and you're getting this counsel for free.

Peace.
Thanks so much sir, I'll inform her about this... will have love to get for her but currently we're not in the same state.

It's called SCABIES
Some common medicines used to treat scabies
It mainly affect the palm or middle of fingers and some other part of the body,

Benzyl benzoate lotion/ cream

crotamiton cream

Skin that hasn’t healed within a month may still be infested with scabies mites. It’s important to remember that “post-scabies itch” can last up to one month.
Contact your doctor right away if you find that symptoms continue after four weeks of treatment.

Other than that, I cannot say if it is the same issue. Please see a proper doctor.

Wow. Like we are in the same boat. It was my new year resolution too and the urge was so much last night. But I’m glad I didn’t give in to it.
I’m not giving up. Never doing soapy again even as I’m avoiding reckless sex too.

I once went almost 2 months without it but the withdrawal symptoms was strong.

Itches all over my genitals which I scratched and scratched which later turned to a full blown scabies..

I am just tired my Brother
