stop watching American movies, if there is any alien as intelligent as man, we are safe because they are at least intelligent enough to see the advantages of co-existence, if we could save animals like lion that is a threat then someone more intelligent will reason like us or better, if we are more intelligent then there is no need to worry, we will develop technology to meet them before they meet us.

This is not the age of Alexander the great, humans do not go ahead conquering others.

There are 6 trillion miles in a light-year (approximately), so the distance we need to go is 6 trillion miles / light-year times 4 light-years, or 24 trillion miles. So, this trip would take 1.2 billion hours. There are 24 hours a day and 365.25 days per year, so this time in years is 137 thousand years.

Do the math for 100 light years. I hope you'd never be fooled when next science says RELATIVELY CLOSE

This idea of insignificance usually leads to the adoption of immoral choices - because what exactly is holding you back from killing your neighbour. His/her life doesn't matter after all.

If your life doesn't matter than the effect of your choices wouldn't matter either.
Why should it matter if you don't matter. Being moral is impossible without accountability.

You may say - *I can hold myself accountable"
Then my question would be - what makes you so sure you should be your own standard of morality? Which is usually the inspiration for tyranny.
