Ramanto:Each individual should better themselves then our country too go better. It sounds simplistic, but the change one want starts within each and everyone of us. You might have noticed my Sai Seun. Its gratitude for bringing us all together here so we might begin.

Nigeria has betrayed the people that fought for her independence with their bloods and wealth. God will punish all the people that plunged us into this disastrous state |

What I don't really understand about our leaders is how do they sleep at night knowing they are wicked and destroying this nation. They all travel abroad to receive medical treatment and see how they operate things oversea but they will never try to do/operate like that here, why? |

CSTR2: This administration is the closest administration to a government with direction and purpose we've got since 1999. It's not what we wanted but a slightly departure from the past. 1 Like |

Very useless country where everything is upside down. Imagine hospitals requesting cash down payment or a so-called police report before admitting someone for a medical emergency. Imagine a Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) busying their foolish selves hunting suspected Internet fraudsters... When there's an agency for that purpose. In spite of the surfeit of armed robbers and kidnappers all over the place. And so on and so forth. Imagine the Army chasing after okrika (second hand clothes) smugglers and retailers, leaving the real security threats behind. |

maasoap:Yes. If the ones you are familiar with are the same group of hopeless idiots. It is madness to keep trying the same thing and expect a different results. Sowore and others were offering something different, but Nigeria opted for the familiar mess in buhari and atiku. |

Agboriotejoye:You surrendered your freedom and resources to government Did you want to be a slave? Maybe many years of history must have failed to open your eyes to the fact that no government in the entire history of Nigeria has ever not been solely responsible for its agents of government - governors, senators, representatives, ministers, president, and the likes, and don't really care about you, which is precisely the reason we are to blame for our poor "health facilities, no traffic control, no safe drinking water and impostor officers". To start with, irresponsible slave who surrendered his freedom and resources to government", our "poor health facilities, no traffic control, no "safe drinking water and impostor officers", are all manned by we Nigerians, and not by aliens imported from Mars! And why the heck did you go and do a stupid thing like "surrender your freedom and resources to government" when you ought to know better and be responsible for yourself? |

Shopatcandice:Thanks to textbooks and the internet. A Nigerian doctor knows the theoretical optimum standards of care, but cannot apply it because there are no facilities. When they go abroad, everything is there to apply. Besides, the above applies to general practitioners where they diagnose conditions and prescribe drugs. When it comes to more specialized sub sectors of medicine like neuro surgery, oncology, cardio thoracic surgery, neo natal surgeries, the Nigerian doctor in Nigeria is poorly trained. And it is not their fault. You need world class equipments to be highly trained. Dr. Obinna igwilo a graduate of UNN had to undergo many externships and fellowships in UK and America before he could become one of the few highly trained robotic surgeons in the World. And possibly the first doctor of general surgery to do a robotic procedure in that field in America. That can't happen in Nigeria because you can't be that good from textbooks alone. 2 Likes |

budaatum:Atiku may not have been the best option but, let's be honest, he and his deputy would've been much better than the ones we currently have. If you were the CEO of a company, between Atiku and Buhari, who would you employ to help your company grow? Kwarrupshon isn't the only problem we have in this country. Let's forget the current (scam) anti-corrosion rhetorics of the current administration. They're fighting corruption but 2/3 of their cabinet members are former PDP members |
