PerfectlyPerfect:Honestly speaking, I think if I put Buhari as CEO of my company, my company might still exist after 4 years, but if I put Atiku, my company would likely not exist after 4 years because 100% of his administration would be PDP members who would be busy being corrupt! |

budaatum:Deep down you know the truth and that alone gives me joy. You know you and your family deserve security. You know your aged folks deserve good healthcare system. You know your little baby girl deserves quality education. You know your brother deserves to be employed with good pay. You know you deserve electricity and pipe borne water. We all can deceive ourselves online about Atiku and Buhari, but when we log out from our online sanctum and watch our elderly folks struggle on hospital lines with little to no money, we weep and curse this people. But unfortunately, they are heading to UK and Dubai for just cough treatment. 1 Like |

budaatum:The truth is that corruption exists everywhere, and in every country. The current administration are simply using it to hide their inadequacies. Have you noticed they blame the past administration for everything? I now know there's a reason why the US played a major role in getting Buhari win. Jonathan was simply too smart, and they needed a stooge to manage the affairs of the most populous country on earth |

ArticleBeast:You are correct, I know I deserve these things. Difference is, I was brought up to understand that government is not angel who would bring me the manna I deserve so I go get what I deserve for and by myself instead of waiting for government to give me what I deserve. I guess the measure of my deserving is my own ability to provide what I deserve. I wish I too had a providing angel in heaven. 1 Like |

All these accusations are true. yes, Nigeria is poor in terms of infrastructural facilities. But let us be sincere with ourselves, America didn't get to where they are today in just one or two years, it takes a lot of time for it to be achieved. So they now expect a country of how many years, 59 years to get to where they are in just a day when they are whooping 243 years old. Damn its not done that way. It's a slow and gradual process but we will surely get there. I believe. 1 Like 1 Share |

CSTR2: Who should I vote for? I don't vote because no Nigerian politician deserves my vote. The only solution to Nigeria's problems is to build a generation of people who have sincerity of purpose. People who won't take bribe and won't prefer family over national interest. And your statement of voting better in 2023 isn't the best. According to you, we should vote the "right person", sit back and watch him perform miracles while we don't change our ways. There's no way Nigeria can be better if each and every one of us don't change our ways. Our leaders aren't the only ones raping this country. Virtually everyone working in a government agency is guilty of raping this country. 1 Like 1 Share |

PerfectlyPerfect:It is a great pity that many forget the dire situation we were in that led to our voting for Buhari who we had rejected twice! I think Jonathan would have served us better. When we suffer reach under his incompetence and looting second term that went on in his first term, we might have learnt to appreciate where we are. |

budaatum: Oh budaatum, Ignorance is thy name. If you were familiar with the philosophy of government in relations to the citizen, you will understand what the statement "surrender your freedom and resources to government" means. Let me give you a short illustration. You pay tax not so? The tax represents your resources to government. Now, consider that you have chosen a certain Saturday for your wedding and the government chooses that same Saturday for an election. Which bows for the other? Your wedding or the election? But that is by the way I expect you read the op and saw where our medical personnel were praised while available facilities were condemned. I also hope you see where the absence of tap water and traffic lights and controllers were mentioned. Now the constitution of FRN from which the government gets power over our lives makes the security and welfare of the people the primary responsibility of government. I hope you can differentiate government from the citizenry of Nigeria because in actual fact, what should concern you is how a tiny number of people in government are able to have so much influence on the direction and quality of life of larger number of citizens in this nation. The answer will lead you to why it is important that 1. We do not have an autocratic government ever again 2. We should critically scrutinize and appraise the caliber of people we allow into the offices of government |
