And yet the Nigerian authorities, their appointees and their supporters will claim that they are doing well and that all is well. Despite all the cries of lagosians since last year May when Sanwoolu was sworn in, he has refused to fix the lagos roads. He was using raining season as an excuse, but rain stopped since November, 2019 and yet nothing is done. 1 Like |
Chai!! See as them finish us Some truth, but a lot of exaggerations. In the health sector for instance I don't agree the issue of fake drugs is still as serious as it once was. Secondly I don't totally agree medications are not available in most hospital. There may be occasional stockout but I don't think it's a general issue Lastly in this day and age how many people still request for tap water? It's almost always bottled water even in those road side bukas[/quote What! Fake drugs are still on shelves! Stock out is as constant as day and night! I guess they meant boreholes taps packaged as sachet water.. |

It will be well with you jare. The real description of all the people who have just one job but can never carry it out effectively. I have used the Lagos state ambulance free of charge before. I've gotten good free medical service under full airconditioner at Ikeja teaching hospital under Fashola's administration. So it's doable and it has nothing to do with the colour of your brain. People make things work and yes shit happens in other countries including the US but we need.to stop blaming the country for the faults of its citizens. budaatum: 1 Like 1 Share |

Absolute fact about the failed state nothing works except corruption from A to Z. Mean while people sleeps under the bridge in America and if you don’t have health insurance in America you are completely on your own, Former president barak ubama tried to address the poor health situation but trump came and pilled it off. 1 Like 1 Share |

Xavi2019: Everything the Americans said is TRUE! The same Nigerians that run abroad and marvel at how advanced other countries are and how backward Nigeria has become, are the same that want other people to lie about Nigeria's backwardness. Even Buhari runs abroad for malaria treatment, but he want Americans to lie about how wonderful Nigeria;s health system is? Yet, the President of the country doesn't trust nor use it! But he will send out his social media e-rats to try and counter the facts stated by the Americans. |

Agboriotejoye:This is clearly the difference between knowing history and not knowing it because if you knew your history, you'd know that tax is theft by government and only lazy fuqs allow themselves to be taxed such that it can be said of them that they "surrender[ed] your freedom and resources to government". Tax was in fact the reason US claimed independence from Great Britain, so I can't understand why you would "surrender your freedom and resources to government" of unaccountable thieves! Most don't surrender as easily as you imply. Agboriotejoye:It better be "by the way". But for the record, the first step in ensuring government does not mess with the Saturday I have chosen for my beautiful special day wedding that no government fashioned on this earth shall meddle with is make sure I check the diary the government publishes with dates of the elections, and knowing Nigeria, chose a day at least 4 weeks after. I'm responsible like that. Agboriotejoye:Try this experiment. Go outside and see gutter going down the street, pot holes in the road, and tell me if bubu is responsible to come and mend it for you. I think you forget we are democratic now. I also think people focus more on Abuja instead of their own local community. We Nigerians get this insidious notion that some power from Abuja will make things right. Some even believe "not by their might" as if good things are for those who labour not. That is why a "tiny number of people in government are able to have so much influence on the direction and quality of life of larger number of citizens in this nation". Its because the majority (and I'm hoping you're a minority on this), "surrender your freedom and resources to government" as if government is your god! And on top of that, you pay them, to enslave you! The government is the "citizenry of Nigeria", is precisely my point! And my security and welfare are my own primary responsibility. Or where's the logic of expecting bubu to secure my local community if I don't take responsibility for the tiny bit of it that I can? Agboriotejoye:You talk as if you were not here when we were "critically scrutinize and appraise the caliber of people we allow into the offices of government". Did you not hear us BMC Artikulate and Obliterate Next Level? It is very important that we do not have an autocratic government, and if our government becomes autocratic and we don't like it we should stand up and tell our autocratic government to stop being autocratic or grin and bear it, and kick their autocratic asses out with our votes at the very next election. Its a slow process, but gradually, we will get better at "critically scrutinize and appraise the caliber of people we allow into the offices of government", and make Nigeria a place we are proud of. |
