I have noticed a shortage of staff at Firstbank of Nigeria since last year. Most of their cubicles are empty with just one or two staff to attend to customers. I visited one of their branches again yesterday and I noticed the same. Is the bank distressed?

Yes they are. It's either they lock up or there would be a merger. Watch out. |

Too bad if it's true, but if there's no much customers there is need to employ and pay idle staff according to your picture |

That can be true! The last bank to be distressed in Nigeria should be FBN. They have sound economic fundamental s, but what do l know? ln this terrible economic period when Nigerian is spending stupidly and heavily on questionable subsidy and about borrowing $30b in a country where the cost of governance is sicking and frightening, any thing is possible. God help us all! |
