Hello Nairalander Please I know this is not the right section to post this,I decided to post it on Family section and I believe it will Gain more Audience or Views. My Forthcoming Exam is coming up Buy March which is Jamb. I'm An Art student and the course I'm Going for is international studies and Diplomacy The Following subject are (ENGLISH which is very compulsory, CRS, GOVERNMENT And Literature) when Ever I read this subject I find it difficult to comprehend what am reading.i can spend like 5 minutes on one page trying to get the Definition but still can't enter my head, please Anyway Out??

maybe dyslexia. just like me i hate reading which my mum think am possessed I prefer things to be technical

Stop trying to cram/memorize definitions word for word.

I suffered this too but I found these true and they worked for me.

That's why we pray for understanding. 2) know yourself and Read at the right time You need to read (for me immediately after each lecture in that day): if you have any question stupid or otherwise, write it down aside and see if your text answered it. 3) don't read after doing strenuous activities (don't know if this applies to everyone but I suffered this and didn't know until I moved in to my own house in the university, then my grades improved greatly). 4) Eat satisfactorily and rest properly before reading. 5) Read out and let your ears hear your words like Abraham Lincoln said.

Maybe low IQ?
The average IQ of a Nigeria is pegged at around 82 or so.

Go and settle out whatever us disturbing your mind and clear any back log in your brain

I'm guessing you're preparing for UTME.
Get enrolled in a tutorial centre. You'd not only get the chance to be taught by learned professionals, you'd also get the chance to meet and study with like minds and intelligent students.

Visit a psychologist to evaluate your IQ and also check to see if you have any learning disability. Medications will be recommended to you should you have any of those issues.
I'll recommend you start meditating every day for at least 20 mins. Meditation has been proven to improve intelligence, attention, concentration and memory. This is also a good medication should you have any learning disability or your IQ is below average.
