This operations does it mean cutting open the body, because professional players seem to undergo operation on every minor injury?

Cc Tbaba1234
It is a minor operation so it is not an extensive procedure.

Among all you listed, which of them had more man of the Match performances than Mikel. To the best of my knowledge, Mikel won three man of the match award in the AFCON and was clearly our best player in the competition.
He wasn't 'clearly'... which is my bone of contention....

It depends on the injury. In some cases, a minor incision would do the trick.. Thesupernerd and other doctors can shed more light.

Hmm nawao because ordinary people have around one operation in their lifetime

But you hear of professional footballers undergoing 3 operations in a season

Lol.... Correct Sir Goodjoe. You know, I just decided to do a quick check back on that tournament and check all MOTM winners.

Mikel was indeed our Highest MOTM winner. He won it against Burkina Faso twice. In the first game and in the final. That makes two.
Against Zambia that would have been Three as he was the best on Nigeria's side but Kennedy Mweene was Man of the Match.

Victor Moses never even won MOTM. But we cannot deny his influence alongside Mikel who was obviously the biggest influence and best on that team.
Against Ethiopia, it was Enyeama that even won it. Shocking how these guys forget that.

Mikel was our best at Afcon 2013. The records are there to back it up.
Mikel still pulled up that mesmerising performance against Spain at the Afcon that same year. As for 2013, Mikel was absolutely golden.

Clearly.

Goal Nigeria readers voted him as their best Nigerian player of 2012 and that was justified on the pedestal of winning the Champions League with Chelsea, but 2013 has been an even better year on all fronts.

The one thing that football fans – Nigerian fans at that, agreed on last February was that Mikel was Nigeria’s best player at the Afcon in South Africa, above the duo of Moses and Emenike, who played commendable parts in the surprise victory.

For Chelsea, Mikel played a bit part in winning the Uefa Europa League and their fourth place finish in the league and therein lays the conundrum.

For Nigeria he was a superstar but for Chelsea, he was more or less a bit part player.

But again, the argument will be that in the Super Eagles, he controls the ‘orchestra’ while at Chelsea, he is part of the ‘orchestra’.

In conclusion, Goal’s award is for the player that has best represented Nigerian football in the calendar year to the world and there is enough evidence that Mikel stood head and shoulders above any other Nigerian player for what was achieved on the pitch.

He won the Nations Cup, played well at the Confederations Cup, where he scored a wonderful goal against Uruguay; led Nigeria to qualify for the World Cup and had relative success with his club – winning the Europa League trophy and coming fourth in the EPL.

Minor Surgery doesn't involve deep cuts or big resections shaa. Just skin-deep or connective tissues-deep invasion. Like you rightly stated, his recovery period won't be long.

'What Do You Do If Messi Says He Looks Up To You' - Nkwocha Lauds Oshoala After Snubbing Barca Star In POTY Voting

Nigeria great Perpetua Nkwocha has paid tribute to Barcelona superstar Asisat Oshoala for equaling her feat of winning the CAF Women's Best Player awards four times.

It will be recalled that Nkwocha did not include Oshoala among her top three picks for the prestigious accolade as she went for Ajara Nchout, Tabitha Chawinga, Gabrielle Ouguene as her first, second and third pick respectively

Nkwocha was the undisputed African football queen in the years 2004, 2005, 2010 and 2011 at the CAF awards while Oshoala claimed same laurels in 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2019. Both women also won the Africa Women's Nations Cup as part of their numerous honours.

"I remember vividly when you were asked in an interview who you look up to as a young star and you called my name and I smiled because I've seen you play," Nkwocha posted on her Facebook wall Wednesday morning.

"Hmm. What do you do if Messi says he looks up to you? You just smile (putting smiley emoji).

"Congratulations star girl. Make and break records girl. The world (is) at your feet," Nkwocha who now coaches Swedish side Clemensnas IF," wrote on the social media platform.

Oshoala who defeated Cameroon's Ajara Nchout and South Africa's Thembi Kgatlana to the crown took to her twitter account to express gratitude to her gratitude.

"Grateful to be Africa Women's Player of the Year for the 4th time. Thank God, my family and fans for the support.

"Big shootout to my club, my Management, teammates at both national team and club level and of course thanks to CAF for the opportunity," Oshoala who has scored 10 league goals in 13 league matches for the Barcelona Femeni enthused.

Meanwhile Lille should be 1 or 2 goals up. I no understand why Sanches didn't take that chance he had but waited too long before now trying to find Osimhen.

Would be a decent backup to Tammy if he agrees and they land him and if the interest is confirmed concrete. Their (Chelsea's) other rumored interests, Werner and Osimhen are the kind of "mentality" strikers to lead a team and not to play backup to anyone.

see her actions and see the fakeness. Its a normal thing to be defensive. But is her one vote gonna make Oshoala lose to preserve her prestige (logical view)

Next is the fakeness after she won. She thinks her voting choices wont be made public i guess. So sad.

She's doing asif Asisat has a equal rival. Smh.

Wenner and Osimhen are two big for a mere back up role, besides, neither of the two can be acquired lower than £50m

they are both still active and are equal rivals.

This perpetual ish is just like a situo of seeing a SE younster with like 60caps, already about to surpass Yekini's goals record and he shifts in his grave.

In this case, Does Oshoala have any close rival frankly speaking?

Messi and Ronaldo are near equal rival. So its not even a good example for this Perpetual ish.

Jealousy is normal. Deception and fakeness is worse!!!

Those records are her major claim to relevance, you can't blame her

Even Robbie Keane was begging Ronaldo not to break his record
