It's more than just goals... there are stats that show how much impact a player has on a team.. Van Djik was more influential for Liverpool last season that Sterling was... If Sterling was that good, he would have been recognized for the Balon d'or, FIFA and UEFA awards.. Maybe they hate him too because he is a man City player...
